Yes, that might be the case sometime with technology. Also it was breaking roaming fees for some operators so maybe they got legal heat. Anyway I still use mine today.

Earlier this SIMBOX used to cost 70 USD and some days back it was 500 USD. Now it's 300 USD. Since they have increased the price the old link is no more working. Also note their services are chargeable now. So it doesn't really makes any sense to purchase this SIMBOX.

Hi Abdallah. Sure you can take the device with you when traveling but remember that if you have simcards from one country in it and travel to another country you are going to pay roaming fees. The sims in the device must be from local telecom companies as it provides the best coverage and price ratio.

If you have 3 sims installed and every sim is "Shared" with one of your friends on thier phone, can you have more than one person making the calls in the same time? Or the phone line will be unavailable when one sim is in use?

Only two SIMcards in the box can be active at a time. Only two calls can be made at the same time. You can install 4 SIM’s but only two will be active. There are other devices with more radios alowing multiple SIM use. This has only two radios

Let me get this straight, The phone supports 4 sims, and two antennas, but 4 sims will be active at all times, however you could use 2 sims at the same time... Did i get that right?

@@justme11may No, it's not the way it works. And it's not the phone, we are talking about the simbox. So the simbox has 4 available physical SIM slots inside but only two can be active at a time. This is because the device has 4 radios. No matter how the sims are shared between two people, only TWO sims will work at the same time, meaning having signal and being able to receive calls and texts. I haven't yet tested how does it behave in simultaneous calls and it is not stated in the documentation so I will come back to you later with a result for this.

Yes indeed, now they ask for money for people to be able to call from the device. You can still receive calls and texts but you can't initiate. This is unfortunate but it is how it is.

It requires you to have internet to access the simbox. You cannot use internet from the simbox since you already have internet in your phone when using the simbox. The simbox simply gives access to the phone line and SMS of the sim inside the box.

@@initishsaini It is possible in the UAE the site is blocked due to UAE policy. Even though the device does not infringe on any laws, the UAE decided that you should not be able to build your own roaming solution because this can cost them to lose money. You can still get on the site by using a VPN but the device is not available for purchase in the UAE. You'd have to procure it some other way.
