I am not staying in a strangers house to begin with. Especially not alone. I also WOULD NOT answer the phone under any circumstances. In fact, I would unplug it. If curiosity got the best of me and I answered, after hearing that, the next time it rang, it would be in an empty house. I'm gone. My biggest take away would be that I don't trust these people. I would wonder why they even have a phone if you are not supposed to answer it?

I would have not answered that phone, I would have unplugged it. As to helping.......no good deed goes unpunished! LOL In all seriousness, I would have been wary of the "people" using the same exact words over & over. This was wonderfully filmed, I even loved the yellow-hue that covered everything....a clue to us perhaps that evil was lurking, because yellow is associated with goodness & light. The very end shot of the phone might have been a little overdone, but it still was creepy. The last scene: the victim 'joins' the other victims?

The ending is open ended as the entity drags the girl inside and the door closes and at the same time the telephone receiver drops showing some kind of connection between the phone and the closed door marked private :)

The way the lighting was set up in the room where the phone was and the way that scene was shot from behind when she is looking through the door just sets up the tone of the film and things start moving towards the end from there 🙂

I really enjoyed it! It was a good atmospheric / house rules horror. Good job. I'd recommend one thing, the audio with the cuts. One cut from another the audio cuts and doesnt blend in so it's noticeable. Blend them in with a fade. In Premiere I usually use the Constant Gain effect. Works well for me.

@@jiyakapurfilms Ah, in Final Cut Pro, you can use the Crossfade option in the Adjust Audio Fades menu. Select the two audio clips, choose Modify > Adjust Audio Fades > Crossfade. messing around a bit with how much crossfade will get you same results

I tell you its worse then phone ringjng when you are sleeping and you wake up to turn on your side and a man is at the side of bed staring at you in white and ginger hair now this is really creepy so what do i do ignore it turn to my left side then i turn to my right side and he is gone . And this is not a movie real.life i tell you im very brave person . Im trying leave this aparment as past years i seen all sorts but if i was to telling my gp he would probably wanna send me to cazy home . There real.stuff that happens some of us dont make song and dance about but live with it im.praying for miracle that property of what i like comes up and im out of here .
