You was not lying in your other video about not giving these companies two weeks notice because they have no loyalty to us. I got let go from my job and they did not give me a two weeks notice they just kicked me to the curb after i gave them my all. Unbelievable... Fyi...years ago, i was a lumper for a co. contracted by us foods. Low pay, hard physical labor and always short handed. Us foods didnt touch anything until pallets were broke down and no, they were not in a hurry. If you were charged a lumper fee of 500(for ex.), i got maybe 50 of that. The rest went to lumping co. And most went to us foods

Unfortunately, it’s very common to see. a lifestyle that people can barely afford. Not scaling back enough.. I got a buddy who lives like this. He’s 48 with maxed out credit cards, but doesn’t even have five or 10 grand off to the side in case for emergencies..

If you do a good job and are dependable and communicate with dispatch and customer and let them know if you will be late and other stuff going on that customer will request you first with dispatch. I am owner op A TRUE OWNER OP PAID CASH FOR TRUCK. I always treat dispatch and load planners AS MY CUSTOMERS AND MEAL TICKETS! They pay me more to work weekends because they know I do not drink anytime and can live without booze. They do not have the employee cost with me so they will run me more. I do SPECIALIZED tanker work so they do not hire every idiot they can find like SWIFT or CR ENGLAND. CLEAN YOURSELF UP AND YOU MIGHT SURPRISE YOURSELF. LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF EMPLOYABLE. MESSAGE BROUGHT TO YOU BY AN EAGLE SCOUT.

I met lots of “smart” truckers who were getting crushed and either didn’t realize it, or didn’t know why.

You lost me at EVERYBODY. I bought myself an $85,000 2019 Audi RS-5 not as a STATUS symbol but because I love the looks of that car and my 10th Anniversary Edition Mustang Cobra 2003 that I kept for 16 years (too long) was costing more to keep running.

Between my State pension ($54,000), current Federal job ($107,000) and current weekend job driving semi's for a grocery chain ($20,000) and 7 months left to payoff my $85,000 CAR, how did I make you point?
