As someone who’s lived in Hawaii my whole life, Hawaiian and everything, it’s been happening for a very long time. Maui right now is terrible to where the government prioritises the tourists more than the people to where they’ve been taking water and ambulances from the people. People say tourism is good for the economy yet it’s affecting the locals.

People *always* say tourism is good for the economy even as it utterly devastates communities. One of the last uncontacted tribes on the planet was successfully peacefully integrated into India a few decades back. Look into what life is like for them these days; the most common jobs for the actual native peoples of these areas are doing demeaning shit for Indian tourists for change and/or prostitution. In 1960 these people had barely entered the stone age and tourism made their lives unambiguously worse. And well, Hawaii has literally always been an illegally occupied colony founded purely for the sake of prioritizing white landowners.

When I was in high school, many moons ago heehee, my French teacher used to be an interpreter for the United Nations. She told us that the interpreters would only work in 1/2 hour stints before swapping because the work was so mentally exhausting.

I've seen you play so many horror games and most of them are just fun. This was genuinely unnerving. I had to watch it in chunks with breaks in between. Great actors and f the "boyfriend".

The boyfriend was a condescending jerk, but I think the prize for biggest asshole in the game goes to the guy who asked a pregnant woman to read aloud from a cursed book when he knew something bad might happen to her. The way he asks her afterward to report anything strange that happens makes it sound like he was using her as a guinea pig to find out if the curse was real or not. Why her? He was clearly suspicious of the guy offering to sell it, why not ask _him_ to read it aloud and have her confirm that what he read matched the text? F that guy in particular.

For the record, Cody was not safe: On the Loved One list, Cody is probably at the bottom and the spirits were starting there... I did not expect them to act so quickly though

As a French/English bilingual person, the interpreting parts really hurt my brain, no idea how people can do it, it's insane ! Also the French dialogues in the game felt just a tad odd, as if they were reading from a book instead of actually speaking French, but this gave me a weird feeling throughout the game so that actually helped with the ambiance, weirdly!

After watching the first 5 minutes of this game I realised how stressful it is to interpret 2 minutes in real-time, and much more to interpret 6 hours webinar where half of them are full of live speaker sessions watched by hundreds of participants.

I don't know the specifics, but living in O'ahu I've definitely heard about them building on the sacred Hawaiian land. I'm Chinese, it isn't my place to say... but learning about Hawai'i and the history (at least in my school) it's the curriculum... It's truly horrible, already being put through so much in the past to having to deal with this in the future.

I feel like as someone who works with children, going with the "Go with heart" option would be very beneficial because the kid gets to talk to his mother but also that is her student so she can start the discussion but then allow the so a and mother to talk and communicate and she would only have to speak up if the sons asks how to say a particular word or sentence.

Whoa something about this really put me on edge, it may have been watching everything happen thru the webcam and it buffering and jerking around 😱 really cool effects! I really adore games with such huge warning at the beginning. It shows concern, and I feel grateful. I hanged once and jumped once, so it's reassuring that people do care about this and it feels nice knowing that. Thankfully, I'm getting better nowadays, this topic doesn't really bother me as much anymore. But, the ones in Famicom Detective Club 1 was very disturbing for me. The under tree hanging one and the red shoes woman's murder one. Murder in warehouse was not disturbing to me. The Yoshikawa Line (Jp: 吉川線) on the red shoes woman was also very disturbing I hope I'm okay with this one EDIT: Written when the warning is shown. I paused there

Yeah, I think I guilt tripped at least once and got him to agree. But he still sulks and says it is only because you are pregnant, and from then on you are doing everything else his way. I wonder if he ever comes round because it does not show what happens when he gets home, but I suppose there would not necessarily be any evidence of the supernatural events and he may think it was some kind of folie a deux. I don’t know if you can really get him to believe you. It’s sad because she is so scared and he is dismissive.

This was REALLY good! And so immersive! I just wish they had paid more attention to details. For example: at one moment the key wasn't in the door to the fathers room when it was supposed to be. I think they accidentally put in a scene where you made the choice to not lock the door.

Wow this was a journey. This just reminds me a lot of the trend of watching a bunch of live cams of just random things/people back in the early to late 00's. But this was so good! It was so creepy and the actors did such a good job considering everything (Budget, etc). These type of games are usually a hit or miss but I think they nailed the mark. This is going to stick with me for for the rest of the day.

With her interpretation with the Theron man the call sounded like the French and English man didn’t get along. That’s what her boss was telling her when you interpret do just translate exactly what they say try to read the room and then interpret/translate. Like when the black man said morning even though it’s evening in France. The main character could’ve just let it slide and said the French man said Morning also.

I've really loved your channel so far, and I've really gone back and forth about if I should say anything because I know i wont change any minds but I have to say this for me. I've been struggling with my mental health sense I was 6 years olds, I've been through abuse and horrors before I even knew what life was. And at age 28 I am still trying to get the support I need for a healthy safe life and listening to the way you talk about her dad breaks my heart. I've tried to get support from people who are supposed to be safe, medical professionals and they had the same mentality you do, lock them up, send them away. I can't even begin to get into all the ways they set my life back and the damage they did. No one chooses to struggle in that way and he is still her dad, he is still a person. I am still a person and so is everyone who struggles with their mental health. I'm sorry but I don't think I can support this channel after seeing this video. I know my one view means nothing to you, but this channel brought me a lot of peace of mind and I'm just so sad that this is how you feel. If anyone watching this is struggling or thinking that their worth is gone because they struggle in this way know that you are loved and I'm so sorry that this is how some people feel.
