If you're well adjusted, you'd probably calculate that yourself and opt to collectively not eat each other. But if you're unstable to begin with, you might start letting the relatively mild hunger get to you and start planning your next meal even if it means eating a person. That, paired with the paranoia of others doing the same and lack of trust between you and strangers, you might start planning it preemptively as a twisted form of self-defense. Haven't read it, but it probably has distrust at the core of the narrative like many similar horror set ups.

All of them are POS in their own ways, but the person who locked all of them up specifically hates the MC due to the fact that he dated his sister/daughter (google translate made no sense), impregnated her and refused to be a part of her life. She doesn't want to abort the child so MC ties her and locks her in an abandoned building. He has a change of heart and tries to help her, but she's still persistent about the kid so he drops her to the abyss. The police question him but he's mentally blocked that incident and the father/brother gets the whole videotape of her death and strikes a deal with this cult to create this highschool death game with the "elementary school girl". The 'elementary school girl' isn't a 'school girl' she's like 30 IIRC and she voluntarily came to this death game to F with the MC (she's from a cult which likes seeing people suffer). So these f'ed up people are in the same room and then due to one reason or the other people die off directly or indirectly until only the MC and the 'elementary school girl who knows martial arts' are alive and they go into an epic fight where she purposefully loses to him and dies on his arms. 3 weeks later, MC is only alive and he's cannibalised literally everyone and is 100% insane. The cops find him and hospitalize him. The brother/father/dude who kept him locked wanted to unalive him so he climbs up the hospital only for MC to attack him in a rage and eat his throat (see thumbnail pic, that's the end) and is addicted to raw human flesh. I hope I was able to tell you the story condensed 😂😂😂😂

Any normal group of people could last in that locked up place without food but this group was nuts. Meh, read it after watching this video, I mean, I can see how it would be disturbing for many people, but if you're a fan of story and you know the details about the offensives in Passchendaele, Verdun and Somme in WWI, if you know about the details of what happened in the eastern front and in Stalingrad in the battles of the Nazis vs the Soviets, and if you have read the things Japan did in the Pacific in WWI in Nanking, what happened in Manchuria with Unit 731, or if you have read "Descent into Hell: Civilian Memories of the Battle of Okinawa" or "Ordinary Men", you'll see that real life has things that are way worse than any of these stories. Yes but not everyone would have such a rational mindset and be so self disciplined as you. If you think about it, those who can kill and eat others will gain more strength. Funny thing is, you dont need to eat for up to two weeks, minimum. And that doesn’t include the amount of fasting that those who practice Buddhism and Islam go through yearly. Human flesh also barely has any value. Much like meat on any other mammal, human meat needs to be prepped properly for it to even have any value at all. Though unlike bacon or beef patties, human has barely a sliver of the caloric value of a piece of bacon. Cannibalism is wrong, duh, but it’s also pointless. As someone who has read it, Joey was on the money by saying it wasn't good. It's just like so many other horror/psychological manga of similar length. Entirely depends on the person, if it's a baby/toddler/child it's bad to fatal, but if you're a healthy adult/adolescent with a normal muscle and fat percentage a week shouldn't do much harm. Just make sure you don't move too much and drink your water.

Yeah I can't read something if it has a gaping plot hole like that, historically people survived upwards to a month during hunger strikes (meaning that they not only suffered starvation, but they still held a strong enough mental fortitude to not give up, let alone start eating other people). There are also other points, there is no way a building doesn't have bugs or other animals, that's more than enough if you're starving, also whoever put them there gave them tools they could've used to break out from there, people escaped maximum security prisons with a piece of broken tile.

If they just preserved their energy, and waited things out, they could last 2 or 3 weeks without food. A week would be uncomfortable, but not deadly. It's silly that the author either didn't do his research or expects the audience to not catch on to this.

The anime of danganronpa is more disturbing than you ever think even if it's a killing game that's sometimes funny the deaths are too gruesome for me to handle this manga is disturbing but danganronpa handles death really really well its terrifying if you see how they die in the anime

You can add favor with tears if you want it be be salty and you can cook it in a crock pot well if they're a bigger person. In that situation it would be best to kill and cook the short dude since his body fat would simmer down to leave nice and tender meat
