Thanks so much for watching this video! 😊 Don’t forget to download our labor preparation and induction guide here (careaboutlittleones.com/labor-preparation-guide) in which we show you how to prepare your cervix for labor! A ripe cervix can help you increase your chances of a spontaneous start of labor at the end of your pregnancy.

I have been following your vedios . Those are very informative.Thank you soo much.I have grade 3 placenta , anterior upper before 32 weeks.is it normal to have? Is there any complications for veginal birth?

Hi there 😊, thanks a lot for your feedback! We are very happy to hear that you like our content! 😊 Regarding your question: It is normal that the placenta "ages" during the course of a pregnancy. And although we would normally expect a grade 3 placenta a bit later in the pregnancy, having it earlier does not necessarily mean that there will be complications. To be clear: neither the age of the placenta nor its position (upper anterior) should be a reason for you not to have a normal delivery. The only question is: can your placenta provide for your baby long enough or does baby have to get out of there earlier... Therefore, it is important to have regular checks with the doctor to see that baby is gaining weight as expected... But other than that, those two factors will normally not cause any complications during a normal delivery. This is only the case, if the placenta is lying very low and covers your cervix... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

I agree 💯 my doctor admitted too early... I spent 13 hours in the delivery room with 1cm and no progress, then when my attending doctor came she broke my bag of water and administered oxytocin.. my active labor phase lasted for 3 hours. The sad thing is I got 2nd degree laceration and my baby has a lot of traumas on her face😥😥😥. I have learned my lesson as a first timer Mom ❤️

Yes, please. That's a topic I'm also very interested in. I'm pregnant with my third child and it's the third time i've had my cervix tigjten/sewed up. As soon as the doctor releases the cervix i'm about 4-6 cm dilated, but my birth never startet naturaly. They always induced me. I would love to have a natural start of labor, but then again...what if I can't make it to the hospital? What is the most important thing to be aware of? And so on... Thank you, you are amazing🤗
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
@@stylecolorsize Okay, thanks a lot for letting us know!! 😊 We are not gonna lie to you: it is a difficult topic to create a good video, because in a hospital setting, you more or less know what to expect. In a car, the situation is going to be different from case to case. In general though, there is (NORMALLY) no reason to worry that you will give birth in the car. Even if you are 4-6cm dilated, it will normally still take some 2-4 hours until you are 10cm dilated. And that is under the assumption, that you experience strong contractions. Besides, the pushing phase does not always start immediately after the dilation phase... Also, the reality is that (NORMALLY) labor does not go from 0 to 100. It's a gradual process and thus there is (NORMALLY) enough time to go to the hospital.. Of course, there are always exceptions. But NORMALLY there is no reason to worry... So, we hope that this information at least takes away some of your worries.... 😊

Hi sir /mam, Is that water broke during delivery and Water level is low/high during delivery time are Both same? Because in my first delivery they told water level is 5.0(39th week start),very low so child heart rate is getting low, so we prefer c-section and done. U told in one of your video that water broke means call midwife and goto hospital immediately. So that im getting confusing that both term water level low and water broke are same? What to do if both are happens.? Pls reply and clear my mind. Waiting for your sweet reply.....
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😘, so, the way this works is this: Your baby is safely "stored" in a sac full of amniotic fluid. So, when your doctor tells you that the water level is 5.0, then it refers to the amount of water contained in that sac. At some point, this sac will rupture (we say "the water breaks"). This means that the amniotic fluid will leak down there (no matter how much was still in your womb) and your baby will no longer be surrounded by amniotic fluid. What we meant is: call your midwife when your water breaks. But just because your water level is low is not (necessarily) a reason to do anything - it all depends on your pregnancy case... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
☹️☹️☹️ We are very sorry to hear that! We are afraid though that the only option you have is to find a doctor who DOES support VBACs. Please keep in mind that EVERY SINGLE DAY women all over the world have VBACs. So this is nothing uncommon... According to "Western standards", a gap of 2 years between the first C-section and the next delivery is normally quite okay! We also recorded a video on this topic to help you understand who is a good candidate for VBAC and who is not: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6PIYpKBeMx-jas But all this information won't help if you cannot find a doctor who supports you...... Is there no way to find one?

hello iam 40weeks preggy and i was having contraction at the middle of the night. is it normal to have regular contractions that lasted 4hrs after the bloody show (5-8mins interval 1min duration) and then the progress get slowed for the succeeding hours of the day? ( 10-20 mins interval with less than 2mins duration) thanks. P.S i still have minimal bleeding for the rest of the day.
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, first of all, please note that many women report that they get contractions more or less right after they had a bloody show. In other cases, contractions won't start for another 1-3 weeks after a bloody show - it's different from woman to woman. When it comes to the contractions themselves, almost everything can be "normal". For example: you could experience strong regular contractions for a while when your body tries to make your baby engage in your pelvis (may this is what happened?). However, what you describe is also typical for the pre-labor phase, when it's often really an up and down in terms of the frequency of contractions. Another thing that often happens is that women feel contractions at night and then they slow down during the night. That is normally because women are relaxed at night (but not so much during the day). So, anything can be normal! You have to give your body the time and see what happens next. Again, you want to have regular contractions - but you know that already... That said, regarding your bleeding: If the bleeding continued, we are inclined to recommend that you talk with your doctor about it. This CAN be normal. However, we would feel much better if you told your doctor - just to be on the safe side.... It's never wrong to do that! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Can I do forward leaning inversion when my baby’s head is at -2 station? I’m 38 weeks 4 days and primi with no dilatation and zero effacement ! Pls reply
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, if your baby is in a good position for labor (i.e. head down and facing your back), you don't actually need the forward leaning inversion. In that case, deep squats will most likely be sufficient to help the baby engage... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Okay, thanks for sharing this with us! 😊 Have you already tried the things that we share on our channel? In this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqPImZWrpdybsLs) we explain several tools to prepare for labor and induce labor. Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5jVk4KZaciYmLs) On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWbYqZmoZb59lac) Maybe any of this helps you? 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

Please I am 39 weeks and 4 days And this is my first pregnancy Can I opt for a C-section or induction What your advice please? Which is better at this point .. I want to do it in the next three days when I’m 40 weeks if the baby doesn’t come naturally
@CareAboutLittleOnes

Hi there 😊, are there any medical reasons why your baby has to get out of there fast? If not, there is normally no need to speed things up. Please keep in mind that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Moreover, the EDD is only just an estimate. It is far from being accurate... If there ARE medical reasons why you have to speed things up, we would personally always try an induction first. This is just a personal opinion because a C-section is a major operation which - as every operation - does not come without risks. Under normal circumstances, nothing speaks against an induction. But of course, this is something that you have to discuss with your doctor because only they know your pregnancy case... Please ask them to also explain to you the risks of each approach - given your particular pregnancy case. And that should help you to be able to make an informed decision... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi mam/ sir, My first pregnancy end in c-section, bcos of certain reason they told : 1.high bp last night, they kept in observation whole night to monitor bp 2.Next day morning,they taken ultrasound scan and told, water level is 5.0 3.next they started to monitor my baby heartbeat continously and after one hour they said baby heartbeat is gng low 4.Then they put injection to induce labour pain, but no pain came and they told cervix is not opened at all. 5.so finally they told your baby pooped inside itself, so we r gng to do c-section. All these happens 1 week before my delivery date. My question is what happened to me actually at that time, why pain not came, y cervix not opened, and also now I'm again pregnant after 8 yrs gap. So this same situation will occur again in this delivery? No possible for vback? Pls reply sir/ madam, bcoz I'm in lot of confusion. Maybe your reply will give me a crystal clear solution to my doubts and fear.

Hi there 😘, we are sorry to hear that you ended up in a C-section. As much as we would like to help you, but unfortunately, it is not possible for us to tell you why these things happened to you... We don't know anything about your case. The only thing you can do is talk with another OB about your case. Maybe they have an explanation what happened and why you did not dilate... Please also keep in mind that this does not mean that it's gonna happen again. To answer this, you would have to know the exact reason why you did not dilate... So maybe, you CAN have a VBAC... So again, please talk with an OB about your case! We are sorry that we cannot be a better help here... 😬 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

I remember during my labor last December, i was advised to stay even just 1cm dilated because i was bleeding heavily. Was it possibly the early oxytocin to induce labor that caused the double cord coil on the legs of my baby? *labor lasted 35+ hrs
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😘, we are sorry to hear that you went through this experience! Rest assured though that there is no way that there can be a connection between the two... Unfortunately, the cord sometimes tangles around the baby when baby moves around in the womb. It can happen in every pregnancy and it is not related at all to what you do or don't do.... We hope that you recovered well from your delivery! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
