I love how methodical you are in your process and organized. I find your videos so calming as im so used to rushing my art to fit in with my busy life. Im learning to slow down from watching your process. Thankyou for sharing!

Thank you, Tia! It's so difficult to take your time when you don't have a lot of it. Sometimes rushing your art gives it energy, but doing it all the time is exhausting. Glad I've inspired you to slow down!

This is such a great idea! Thank you Jeannine, this will really help me get to better compositions.

This is a great idea! The only thing I do sometimes is taking a picture to see things from a different view or add pieces of collage and take pictures to see how they look but I´ll definitely try this!!! Thank you very much for your teachings!!!

Taking a picture really helps too! It's like standing far away from your painting. It helps to see everything in context and more clearly.

I happen to LOVE that first one just as it is. I love the um blue peaking through.

Thanks! It also depends in the mood I'm in what I want to do with a painting

Lovely process - I enjoy your small abstract paintings and your very fine balance of intuition and reflection on how to combine the playfull and the focused - 🎶🧡🎵

thumbnails really are great! These are so much neater than mine though 😂😂
@jclosestudio Жыл бұрын
Haha, as long as it’s clear in your head that doesn’t matter 😊 sometimes I draw them instead, but I find it so much quicker to just print the thumbnails

I love the original image just as it is. Just beautiful work! Also, I'm quite curious about the printer you used to make the thumbnails... What brand/ model is it?

Thank you! I have a Canon G6050. It does the job. For this purpose any old printer will do 😉

Hi Jeannine.You make me laugh. You are allergic to pops of colour. . Nevertheless your abstracts are lovely. I happen to love the Ultramarine and the Pink. Everyone has their own style. What is that thick white pencil you are using? Greetings from Australia😊
@jclosestudio7 ай бұрын
Haha, you might be surprised! I have just added some unusually bright colours to my current paintings. New video coming soon 😉 The pencil is a stabilo woody. They are kids pencils, but I love them! They are water soluble too. www.jacksonsart.com/stabilo-woody-3-in-1-pencil-white?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=2d00f43f07911355d4151f13925ff292
