@Talz6226 жыл бұрын
Anime Guy Every part of Florida has its own feel and own sort of dumb/crazy/weird shit. For instance, I live in Ocala, but I go to Gainesville, and Orlando every couple months or so. These places make up Central Florida. Central Florida is all huge cities speckled around farmlands and literal nothingness. Half of this place is uncharted territory I shit you not. There may be a lost tribe of native Americans in the Everglades and we wouldn’t know. The people are pretty hit or miss too. It’s always super fucking hot so everyone cops an attitude on the days it gets bad. Lots of druggies, old people, and people who can’t speak English. Not much crime, but druggies are always getting shot while trying to mug someone and drunk cunts are always causing accidents and killing high schoolers who are also drunk, high, or both. Dumbasses in the few hoods we have usually stick to themselves and just shoot each other or sell crack to each other. One of my family’s friends actually lives across the road from a crack den that is constantly getting busted, and there’s a bullet hole in one of the floorboards in his room from where a stray round stuck it. Oh yeah, half our cops below the age of 40 smoke weed so don’t worry about them pulling you over if you smell like it. Chances are, if they do, they’ll pull you over, check you out, and then let you go because they really can’t do shit or because they don’t want to deal with checking cars in 90+ degrees high humidity weather.
@Talz6226 жыл бұрын
Sailor Moon that’s essentially what Ocala and Dunnellon are. Livestock cities. Ocala is literally only know for two things: the band A Day to Remember (which no one cares about anymore except scene chicks) and horses. Something about famous race horses being from Ocala or something from decades ago. I mean we have some neat stuff around here, but you’ll be driving for a good twenty minutes to get somewhere interesting.

Only if you fall for the tourist traps. As a local, I rarely ever go to South Beach Clubs. Wynood, Brickell, Gables, and just random spots around town are all funner, cheaper, and less stuck up. Clubs were alright, but I got tired of them by 22. Bars/lounges/ and some restaurants are lot more fun. The women are beautiful, the parties are top notch, and as a hispanic, it's the closest thing to little Latin America, which makes it a very unique city. But yes, DONT GO TO SOUTH BEACH FOR SPRING BREAK OR MEMORIAL DAY. You'll get shot or hustled. South Beach is fun to walk around during the day, and even see the full moon over the water at the occasional drum circle when not crowded. I even ran the streets playing man hunt as a kid, but it can be a terrible beach at times. Head North or West for cleaner sands and water.

One time our family flew to Miami to go see other relatives that we haven't seen in 5 years. After we got there and put our stuff into our room, we were coming out of the hotel and the street outside of it was flooding a little bit from a broken fire hydrant down the road. So I decided to go check it out with my brother and we endded up being greeted to the sight of a homeless guy sipping up water on the ground from the broken fire hydrant that was continuously flooding the road. The guy honestly looked like he was on some crazy ass drugs or something. Since that day anytime I hear of "Miami in Florida" I always think of homeless people drinking from fire hydrants.

Also pro tip especially if you come to eastern europe and you need to find a bathroom, go to casinos, they always have a bathroom and if you need just put in the smallest amount of cash you can so the attendant does not kick you out.

Yea my family lives in Fort Lauderdale and you can find more people handing out prescription pills on the beach than at a hospital. I'm in Savannah GA though so I'm leaving cheaper and safer than both of those places.
