I have to say though that I have been caught off guard with some of the interactions pttp has had In some of his videos. The rude obnoxious coppers I expected,but some (not many) of the police have been genuinely decent,and that has made me reconsider some of my opinions. It would be a great channel for new police to learn how they should interact with the public. They should remember that they are here to protect and serve the general public,and not to Harass,bully and intimidate them. We need radical changes in the current policing techniques if they want the general population to start to trust them again.

Forgot all those cop documentaries, soap's and movies, the world inside the police force is not what the majority of the public think, they pick and choose how they want to behave depending on how the mood takes them. The abuse of power is like a terrible virus and clearly there is no cure. Pay close attention to what they say and do, and you will find that they inform on themselves. They know all about the memo and orders about photography. If you've had the opportunity to see behind enemy lines you be amazed at the mentality towards the public. They've been getting away with blue murder and what's worse, they are policed by themselves. They do not want Joe public photographing, filming and holding them accountable in the line of their duties. The moment one of them finds a way to weaponize the laws on photography to rid themselves of this auditing they will go down in the hall's of fame inside the police force . All so they can keep flexing their powers how and whenever they choose. The only way the police will change and be the professionals what we pay them to be, is if the public auditors and people like them keep doing the amazing work showing the people the good and the bad of police and the authorities.

The polce are bound to an authoritarian hierarchy. When accosted by two or more you should first require them to identify whom is the most senior and then address ONLY that one. Otherwise they will simply bounce you around one to the other - as here - as a bullying evasion technique and you will never be in proper control. If they are both of equal rank, the 'most senior' is the one whom you've been employing the longest. Also - as in this case of two - the other one should be nominated by you as your witness to their colleague's behaviour. Adhere strictly to this simple procedure and you will hold total control. All it takes is a little self-belief and moral courage.

The real issue I have is illegal motorbikes, red light jumpers and motorbikes/cyclists on the pavement. It’s dangerous and more people will be killed. So here’s an idea for an audit. Holborn in London, regularly has lots of people breaking the law with illegal motorbikes, right in front of it. The advantage here is the police can nick, and just put the illegal vehicle in the lot. It’s easy. So audit Holborn, but really film the offences not the police. Then you can ask the police, which is more dangerous, the man with a lens, or the criminals behind them? They can’t even claim lack of resources any more because of the funeral and how many officers were out. So can they be embarrassed into doing so actual work? For example, flagging down an illegal bike and direct them to the officers worried about a camera? Would make for an interesting video, particular because its about making life safer in the UK.

It's also a human right to swear in public Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 19 "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." The same fundemental human rights police swear an oath to uphold

@@mijimonmaster yep they probably could’ve cited it as a public order offence for causing alarm, distress, or harassment using threatening or abusive but in order to do that they’d have to find a member of the public who felt alarm/distress/harassment/threatened by the language. But most cops bypass this too by simply stating that one of them was alarmed or distressed allowing them to arrest someone. But usually the charges are dropped and all they want to do is lock someone up for a bit without cause to make themselves feel superior.
@nocommentuk2 жыл бұрын
Just imagine how often the police get away with this when dealing with your average person on street who is not clued up on the law.
@mijimonmaster2 жыл бұрын
@@arghjayem Alarm and distress, unless threats or abuse is used, is subjective. Some people are A&D by people with tattoos. Does this mean they can arrest tattooed people? Of course not. So, using words can never be a means to arrest someone, especially as it is a protected human right

@@mijimonmaster it is not a total protection to say what you like. Not defending the following but... You cannot swear in front of people who may be offended. You cannot use abusive or threatening words. You cannot engage in hate speech. You cannot incite criminal behaviour. But yes, we have free( ish ) speech, but you do not have an entitlement to say whatever you like. Having said that swearing in front of the police is totally fine, and has been upheld by the courts. The police can not be alarmed and distressed by bad language.

They’ve recently spent a fortune refurbishing Hammersmith police station which included the installation of a new double gate system. If you look closely around 6:10 you can see there are two sets of gates, so a vehicle can drive in and let the gate behind them close before the gate in front opens. But I see the inner gate is left permanently open, in this day and age! More proof that their alleged security concerns in the “current climate” are not genuine and are only mentioned to infringe upon peoples rights.

I like auditors, I've learned a great deal about the law from watching videos and reading knowledgeable responses. So much so that I've seriously thought about taking it up in semi-retirement myself. I mentioned it to the wife (who threatened divorce) lol as she has police in her side of the family. The bigger picture is that there are individuals in uniform that shouldn't be there, too many are a very real danger to the public and anyone who stands up to them, some serious personally disorders. I knew a bully at school, a Big lad for his age, his daily routine was to go around punching anyone younger and smaller than him. I hit him back once aged 8...he never forgot it. In my 20s I was arrested numerous times for (behaviour likely to cause a breech of the piece) generally for walking along the pavement, once for waiting at a bus stop next to the police station. Strangely enough the PC who arrested me every time was the same school bully from 15 years earlier. I complained to the custody sergeant about being arrested waiting for a bus and was punched in the face infront of him by the school bully, that's the police for you, a law unto themselves and that hasn't changed. Their contempt of anyone who questions their law breaking behaviour is palatable. Long live auditing, this karma has been a long time coming and well deserved.
