If you like reading books, I suggest you read "The Four agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz. It does talk about not taking things personally and guiding you to personal freedom, I got the book 2 days ago..

When I was a little kid, I took things personally with a tear or two. Since turning into my teens I grew more mature and let stuff roll off my back, afterwards I feel better as a senior in high school with a 3.0 average working on As.
