What helped me was to realise that women don't have any other way of verifying whether or not you live a fulfilling life without her, other than by keeping her distance. The trick is to make yourself so busy with your own life that you don't feel the need to text people to "connect". F that. Expand your hobbies, do what you love, stop chatting people up, especially if they barely show interest in it. Be your own best friend and everyone else will fall into their rightful place.

Went on a date with a woman which went well. I tried not to text her over the following days but she kept initiating. So I asked her out on a second date. I picked something that seemed fun romantic and thoughtful and all she said was "hmm" then never said anything else... I even offered an alternative but heard nothing. No texting works but be careful what you wish for. I had a woman come back after no contact. She came back crying on my porch, begging to come back. Took her back and then she walked out again two years later. Never take an ex back. Ever. Stay alone and be more picky next time.

I had an argument with my girl because she disappeared on me at Walmart. I called her twice and texted her no response. Her ex stalks her and he stalked me I tell her I was concerned for her safety she gets mad at me. Proceeds to tell me I’m not her husband or father. I haven’t spoken to her since Friday. No. Channel that energy onto your family/friends. Christmas and other holidays are for you and your family/friends. Breaking no contact will cancel the progress you've made so far and you'll have to start from zero. If you really want her back, you have to control that urge to text her. Go meet your family, talk to your friends, date other girls, hit the gym, learn a new skill, use your energy for your career/school, hobbies and passions. Show her you can live your life fully with or without her. I bet this time next year you'll feel a very different man.
