I know this is an old video and you probably won’t see this but I just wanted to say thank you! This is my favorite Bob Dylan song and was on my list when I first started playing. A year ago I thought this song was impossible and I gave up after the first embellishment. But now I can play it at speed and it’s actually easy! I normally don’t comment on videos but I’m extremely grateful to you man.

I love your site, but... You don't think about how your students are watching the lesson. We are constantly stopping and reviewing each part. So when you make a mistake and restart, or opine about what Dylan does to give you problems, or interject comments about fiddly bits, or digress into stories etc. we have to hear that a hundred times and it breaks the rhythm of the music we are trying to copy. Please give us a slow clean lesson first, then add any comments afterwards.

man, ~I like your lessons as you break the songs just the way they are become easy to learn but ... you talk so much...in between.. just way too much talking over one little bit of every single note, so by the time you finish talking for ages I forget what I was trying to learn, then I have to keep skipping back and forth to try and find the bit I was learning, very annoying and time wasting. Maybe if you to talk first the just play and repeat the play few times so learners can easy catch up? It's way too much talking over two or three notes, and please DO keep teaching as eyou know what you are doing but without stopping every two seconds to say something? lol ?many thanks tho!

Haha, I can just picture you swearing at me and yelling 'shut the hell up man!' at the screen. All I can say is that it's really hard teaching via video and that you're never going to get it right for everyone. I do try hard to not waffle but I guess I'm guilty here.

What? He doesn't even talk that much. He just explains the tricky parts with a bit more detail and explains things that need to be explained. If you wanted to learn without a teacher talking, you should just go watch a cover and learn it by yourself. Most people who make lessons on this song, make the tutorials in 3 parts or more, and explain a lot more. You're lucky he is divulging the song and play method in 12 minutes.
