Very nice to see you have a manual m3.Most are dual clutch.Really nice video, i wanted to take my daily audi a3 2.0 tfsi quattro with 414hp to trackdays now and then because i live in Belgium and Zolder is not that far away from me,also Spa is very doable to drive to from where i live, but sadly my ongoing chronic illness(Crohns since 2001) got in the way resulting me to get my medical discharge from my job, so no cash, no upgrades and no trackdays.Hopefully one day but after heavy pains dor a continued 3 and a half years now and in need of surgery that ain't going to happen anytime soon i guess, but it's nice to watch video's like these,it kinda still gives me a part of the experience.So thank you for the great content.Piece out and keep on tracking.

In my opinion if you buy a M3 it is legit for you to go to the track to learn to handle it properly or just to have good time. The wrong thing is (my opinion) to tune it for extra horsepower when the owner can't even handle it stock properly on the track. Almost everyone can handle a fast 0-60 on straight line

Yes. But on the flipside a mass produced car is made to appeal to most. So lowering and doing camber plates should be the first thing you do when you start tracking it

What are your comments on R888R tires when used with F80? Are they good on the track? Any understeer with 'only' 275's in the front? Are they quick to react to direction change? Been looking into these, but decided to go with Cup2's, since there are no reviews on the internet for them from heavier car owners.
@TommyLGarage4 жыл бұрын
I have to say I am extremely happy with them. It takes about two laps for them to warm up and become sticky but once they warm up they become super amazing. I will stick with these tires going forward. Now, I would never daily them. You will never get them hot enough to provide you enough grip for daily use.

I’ve often been curious about the handling differences as well. I assume vehicles with OEM staggered setup have been optimized in various ways to account for that. If only I had the money to get 8 sets of wheels and spend a week at the track to do side by side tests. 🤣
