This is one of Danny's that really helped me with my drives. Love the paint brush analogy.

Yes it is a very simple but effective thought that can be imagined whilst in swing

This is good information. Good idea too on filming my swing.

What I don’t see in your swing but find it very beneficial to my swing is lifting the front heel slightly more on the back swing. This enables a fuller turn in the backswing and weight shift. If you want to see an extreme heel lift by a pro just look at Jack Nicklaus with a driver. It’s not my habit to watch tour pros for golf instruction but find Jack fun to watch. My golf hero.

I would never argue with Jack! I have to be careful not to sway too much if I lift my front heel

@@testingthetips the backswing is a rotational move around the spine like a spring. A lot of golfers move to the back foot by moving the hips to the rear to accomplish this shift and then NOT shifting to the front foot prior to the downswing.

Jack Nicklaus used to begin his swing by presettng his head with a slow turning of his head to the right.

Yep, the head turn is an old Jack Nicklaus tip. One reason being left eye dominant.

Where in the UK are you from? Every now and then I hear a scouse accent creep in.
