Dude, I run this commander and it’s actually amazing how many people presume you can’t win with it…. That ability to give people hippos is a sneaky knife in the back. With the color combo you have access to many “reigns of power” type affects where you can either steal or swap creatures with target opponent. It’s pretty easy to give someone crazy amounts of hippos… pillow fort up and wait for everyone to kill each other (cause your not an obvious threat… you likely won’t be targeted) then when it’s a one on one just take those hippos back and win.

My apologies I never saw this comment. Yeah Phelddagrif generates some of the craziest looks around the table once you start granting people 20+ hippos in a single turn. No one is ever ready for Reins of Power or Angel's Trumpet

I'm glad you enjoyed! With this specific list, it's always fun and plays well. It all depends on how quickly you can protect yourself. If you can out value with oath of druids mill, this deck can even win in a 1v1. I don't see any issues in a three player pod. Of course, small tweaks may be required based on your meta

Dude I usually love your content because it’s original. This is a played out deck. As in I’ve seen 15 of them. Same idea. Give me some more Taniwha style Alpha.

You will see them, don't worry! I am slowly doing deck techs for each brew in my collection. Phelddagrif is definitely a popular commander. However, take a good look at this list, and you'll see it's different from most. I definitely recommend the game winning jank series if you haven't checked that out already :D Next deck tech will be a hyper budget one, but after that, it'll be pure jank brews once more!

@@edhbrutality it's just one of those cards that's really bad for the format imo, along with all the urzas saga lands. I have a strong distaste for it I understand it's powerful and I don't fault people for using it I'm just not a fan

@@Tekkicelmao, bad for the format… just pay the one and run more removal dude… I’m not trying to be a jerk or rude but I don’t get how it’s bad for the format. I see it hit the table ALL the time where it never draws a card cause the table all just agrees to pay the 1 until someone can remove it at the first opportunity which, if your running appropriate amounts of removal, shouldn’t take long. People choose to be greedy and ignore it and not pay the 1 and that’s when it’s a problem cause then it snowballs… but in reality that’s not a broken card, that’s a greedy playgroup with poor threat assessment that deserves to be punished.
