The first flicker card was not Flickerwisp, but...Flicker. Go figure. (Go flicker?) I tend to call immediate return from exile "blink" and end of turn return "flicker" - though Flicker itself is actually a blink spell. Again, go figu-flicker.

Right? I always wished flicker/blink were less interchangeable and had clearer definitions. Like you know what they could mean, but always have to specify immediate vs delayed return. Like you could say Flicker is immediate and Blink is delayed, but how much sense does that make that "blink" doesn't mean immediate? lol.

Only bant deck inhave made is chulane but then later changes it to amerath , the lustrous.

@@NitpickingNerds well chulane is such a power house. It works very similar to chilane, but lowered the power levels of the deck. Makes it alot of fun! With chulane at the helm it took over most games.

I had an Balan deck, switched to Sigarda, host of Herons and now switched to Rafiq. Coincidently is a bant commander. Unfortunally, I am focusing in equipments and not enchantments, that make the deck weaker in my pov.

Why is night of autum good in your meta NN? I mean gainin 4 is not relevant when you loose to thasas oracle and a 3 mana 4 3 is also irelevant. It seems like a harder to cast rec sage. In modern its great for the versatility but in commander only one mode actually matters.

We lose to damage as much as combos. It is harder to cast but in a GW deck it is pretty much the same so the life or counters are gravy.

I think the best possible "bread and butter" card to use as the name for a tier would have to be your favorite overpowered staple, Darksteel Plate, because you need a plate to put your bread on. :p

One of my main decks is a Pheldagriff Group Hug bant deck. And it's one of the decks where politics is a huge factor. My friends think I have no soul, but I laugh my ass off. It also ran Invoke Prejudice, that since the ban has no functional replacement... this is an issue that should be addressed.

Humility? Against a Bant deck? Is there a Bant deck that doesn't have at least a half dozen ways to get rid of enchantments? Just having an aura shards will usually solve that. Counter spells, Disenchant/Naturalize, Bounce/Exile Permanent effects, there's even a planeswalker or three that can remove that.
