left the "illusion" as the bag family calls it, almost two years ago and have no regrets... digital nomad, wfh, about 15 hrs a week and below "retirement" age... i'm not getting up every day to go slave at anyone's job to pay for a delusional lifestyle...nope😐

You've answered the only question I presented in Part 1. You house-sit for free, then how do you generate income to satisfy all of your needs, like saving for the future, recurring living expenses and pleasures? Several years ago when I was a personal secretary to a businessman in Bermuda I attended to his mansion (I never stayed) while he traveled to trade shows overseas. He was a bachelor without dogs and no children (I was doubly thankful for that). On another occasion I painted the verandah of one of his apartments. In addition to receiving payment for my services in that regard, I also received my secretarial salary.

I am still feeling the vibe you ladies created in your conversation. And when I say black girl magic it’s from the energetic perspective of having been on the dance floor with black women and there is a FEELING that is different, is magical. It becomes easy to see our evolution as black women from the original on this earth in their expressions. I energetically VIBRATE on another level in the company of black women. I don’t know what others mean by black girl magic because I know only my own and am always surprised on the pushback. I’m like “of course we are MAGICAL duuhhh” 😆

Try locum tenums. Do 6 month or 3 month contracts in Anesthesia. This will allow you to travel the world and make more money than what you're currently making. Thanks ladies!

That was a great conversation. I took today off just to rest because why not. Doing the job of another person! Not. Work can make me feel like I have to push through and endure but I’m glad I came across this video as a reminder to not wait to live life. Thank you 😊

I love this conversation about questioning where these (type a, for example) ideals came from. It’s critically important to examine for ourselves AND to be aware of how we are passing those ideals onto our children, and those women we may supervise at work. It is a pernicious cycle.

I am not type A. I refused to work into type A. Group projects are a joke, starting in elementary school with entitled kids (type zero) thinking they get a pass because they didn’t care about the grade and I did (type care). I avoid group projects with lazy people (not the “lazy” mentioned in this KZbin video).
