I love the thoughtful evaluation of each product’s formula, pigmentation, staying power, scent etc and then whether it worked for you and why it didn’t. You are not negative! Being critical is totally different thing. For me, those essence liquid eyeshadows definitelly need a powder shadow to go with - otherwise they stay completelly wet and discustingly sweaty feeling. I put powder under or on top of. Or both. They don't cake up or anything but yeah, they are for really light eye looks. Ps. essence just came out with actual eyeshadow toppers but with this experience don't think I'm going to pick them up.

I have the pink liquid eyeshadow from Essence and I agree that they don´t perform really well. It looks like a mess on my eyelid. I tried to use it as a topper, but it did not work. Kinda wish that there are more affordable matt liquid eyeshadows in the European market. Now I have to wait until I get to China in September to buy liquid eyeshadows that are more flattering for Asians. 😅

Colourpop just does not work for me. Their super shock shadows are amazing, but every eye shadow palette I try the shadows fade on me very fast, the blushes don’t have great pigment, and just overall I feel meh about the brand! I wish they worked for me, but I feel I’m mostly underwhelmed by them

Those hard candy lip oils feel good but, the taste and smell ...awful. Ulta has a spf setting spray that I like the formula but it doesn't smell very good. I'm going to try the Elf.
