The american flag and anthem used to play at midnight when tv turned to static. After that there was nothing til around 4 or 5 am. I think it was in the 80s because i dont remember it happening in the 90s. We discovered how much money could be made on infomercials i guess.

Yeah from the 50s-80s TV stations would sign off for the night and there would be nothing but static or an emergency broadcast signal on loop until they signed back on in the morning. In the late 80s to early 90s is when they started just showing infomercials or showing reruns during the late night blocks when normally they'd be off the air.

11:10 Oh, I remember this! It was the wheel of monotony at the prehistoric zone with the neopet that looked like a frog! I'd try to come back to it after 3 or 4 hours 😂 or just come back the next day. Used to get good items sometimes, but other times I lose coins 😭
