I have hyperhidrosis and overheat easily. And I live in Florida where it is oppressively hot year-round. I appreciate you providing options to reduce heat, and that you are talking cotton. But your clothes would STILL cause me to overheat, as would the Mormon “modest“ clothes. Recovering from overheating requires quickly cooling off, removing clothing, and hydrating. If you try to work while recovering or even later that day, your heart beat races and you overheat again. Overheating and recovery is not productive. In public, I wear cotton, sleeveless shells and cotton shorts. Also, it’s best to try to find loose-fitting clothing. I wear a cotton bandanna rolled up as a sweatband, a cotton bra, and cotton underwear. I am in no way fashionable, but I’m not dead due to overheating. If someone thinks this is immodest, I don’t care. In my house, I wear sleeveless, short cotton dresses, a rolled bandanna for sweat, and a cotton bra. In addition to the AC, a fan is pointed in my direction. Head coverings, long sleeves, and long pants, result in containment of body heat, and are only worn if it’s 40°-50° or lower.
