Also they cry about everything literally. I am a janitor for Walmart and they cried because I clocked in 5 or 10 minutes beforehand. They cry if you are looking at something on the floor. I if you work as maintenance they will call for everything even though it another person working with you. The cry about the small estate thing not being done. The don't let you have any Time off so if you can't get what you need done on your off days it's your loss.

@@ghostpoliceparanormalinves2486 Or the managers are in the personnel office where the People Lead who is also basically the HR person BS'ing or in the store managers office with the department managers and Leads having a "staff meeting" most likely saying what you did wrong and when you page for a customer that wants to see a manager, they are nowhere to be found on the floor since they are having a stupid meeting. There are times where when I was in maintenance, they are in the middle of the aisle in the action alley chit chatting, but the moment you chit chat as an employee with a coworker, you get a reprimanded and coached. I once had a former store manager before the current one reprimanded me for missing a few drops of water on the floor on the way to a spill on the water aisle. If your going to coach me or reprimand me, do it in private and not out on the floor where other employees and customers can see it and everyone can hear it. Managers are very unprofessional at Walmart.

Just stepped into my old Walmart. And they’re going through a remodel. The remodel was supposed to happen August 2023 and now it’s finally happening. I remembered when I was there during the last remodel and customers were mad because when they were redoing one bathroom at a time, they were getting mad because they couldn’t go in there to use it. It’s tarps off and with caution tape for a reason. Same with parts of the store that are being shuffle around in different locations like pets and jewelry being moved around, but apparel is being expanded. F Walmart! If I would’ve seen the manager that fired me, I would’ve said anything, but in my mind, I would be thinking to dare and say something or give me and eye roll and go ahead and say something because you promoted me to customer and I’ll report them on the spot.

They fired me last year on May 12 for finding $100 and failing to turn it in before my shift. I accidentally said I didn’t have it and I remembered I did but looking back I should’ve never touched it and I would’ve still had my job. The customer called it in, of course. Looking back, getting fired was one of the best thing that’s ever happened. I was only unemployed for 18 days and, a job at a grocery store that I got after Walmart though they jerks me around as well and hardly giving hours but hiring new people and have the nerve to tell me I’m working efficiently. If I have something that goes on aisle one, why am I gonna wait until the end of my shift to put it back even though it’s not perishable and I’m already there so I wanna work smarter and not harder. I went to another supermarket job that I had worked to before Walmart. It’s until I find something else. Walmart is straight up trash. Now the manager that fired me looks at me with a dirty look whenever I walk in there to shop but last I checked I’m a customer now. I regret what I did, but looking back, getting fired from there was probably the best thing. The less I give Walmart And Sam Walton’s children, the better. I hope one day I see Walmart and Sam’s Club go under. Nobody gives a crap about you unless your last name is Walton, your born into their family or your married into their family. These managers there don't realize that even they can be replaceable. Sure, they can be transferred, but after a few transfers, they eventually will be fired after a few employee and especially customer complaints.

They have done that here as well. The only thing we don't have is robots taking stock and robots as door greeters which I haven't seen any yet. I know there are stores out there that has them but I don't know how many.

i hear you but there is such a demand from cheap customers for the cheapest possible prices. walmarts prices are still the lowest and thats what customers demand so they are doing whatever they can to make sure their prices stay low

I’ve worked there for awhile and make $27.50 an hour. I don’t understand what you guys are talking about. Walmart must be different where I live cause it’s great here..

I'm glad you like it there but when I was was working at Walmart I was only making $5.15 an hour and didn't get treated right. And if you wonder why I call it some weird names it's because I have been calling Walmart Walfart Wally world and everything else. Some people in different places has different experiences with them. And I'm not the retail type of person I more of a currier person. When I worked with UPS I made more than I did at Walmart.

i agree, I think it depends on the management in each individual store. i see stores where the employees look happy and are having a great time, and ive seen other stores where the employees look miserable

It starts in the area that a store is in, and yes they have self checkouts and robot scrubers! I makes the people who have to work there left have to work more. Sorry to hear about your time at Walmart, its hard working at a strict store, Ghost Police!

I’m pretty sure I got capped at 16/hr I stay for my 401k but I have a pt job at fedex now and I’m so exhausted at Walmart cuz now I work first shift and work everywhere and I don’t know anything about these depts and thats frustrating

And the way they schedule at least at the one I just left you may very well have to choose between them and fedex. We are just too easily replaceable. The jobs are set up that way so they do not care if you quit and they will schedule you for hours you are already scheduled somewhere else even if you tell them not to.

This is only your opinion I work for a Walmart in Indiana and so far it's been pretty good I like everybody and they free to be decent so far so you don't speak for everybody

I'm not speaking for everyone. I have worked at our Walmart almost 23 years ago and it was pretty bad working there also a lot of other viewers on here that have had the same experience and they told me their own experience working there in their own Walmarts. But yes there are some good ones as well. I was mostly talking about our Walmart where I was working at.
