I think this guy nailed me! I was in NYC 6 years ago with my wife, walking around in some comfortable half-old black sneakers---and suddenly from 30 feet away in midtown he yells, "Hey Rockport! The key to corner selling is not having any insecurities about what you are saying. When Don makes a calculated little jab at potential customers, he is fully committed to what hes saying without hesitation or tension. That allows him to have somewhat of a comedic approach which takes people's guard down and gets them in the chair. The host had so much hesitation built into his body language and tone. People can smell a slimy salesman from a mile away- and they smell awful 😂

I'm guessing his "shoe sale game" is so on point, it's just small improvements by now. So maybe he could make bigger improvements by looking at other aspects that isn't as refined.
