Hasn't anyone on the panel ever heard someone speak who wasn't wearing dentures? I have. Throughout middle and high school, my best friend and I practically lived at each other's houses. One weekend she'd sleep over at my house, and the next weekend I'd sleep over at her house. Her daddy was a Pentecostal preacher. Something she hadn't shared with me until we were in church. We'd settled down into "her" spot and sang some hymns. Then, people in the congregation began filling up the choir loft. I was nudged along to join them even though I'd have been happier observing. There was no choir director, but different people would come forward, give a page number, and then we'd turn to that page to sing that hymn. Then, we returned to our pews. As typical 7th/8th graders, we were passing notes back and forth, being very careful to appear to be paying attention. In the middle of his first prayer, her daddy began saying things that I didn't understand. Later, during the "preachin' portion" of the service, a male church member was filled with the Holy Spirit. He started running down the aisles, out the swinging double doors, then back inside. He did this several times. I was just a plain, good ole Southern Baptist girl. I'd heard of speaking in tongues but never HEARD anyone do it. The look on my face when the guy started running around and outside had to be hysterical. Years later, I saw someone who was filled with the Holy Spirit run the back of the pews. It was impressive. I remember telling my cousin about it and she scoffed at the idea of speaking in tongues. Now, she's the wife of a Pentecostal preacher and speaks in tongues. That ENTIRE backstory was to explain that when I was at her house, they had nightly Bible devotion. Someone would read a passage of Scripture, we'd pray and then off to bed. One night we were called in for Devotion and her mama was reading. At first, I thought she needed to clear her throat. Then, I looked at her face carefully. Her mouth looked weird. Her lips were flapping and her speech was slurred and then some. I looked at my best friend and she wouldn't look at me. I finally figured out that her mama had taken her dentures out. Before that, I didn't know she had dentures. Trump didn't have his dentures in, that's what was wrong with his speech. It wasn't a mini-stroke and it wasn't alcohol. His teeth were floating in a glass beside the bed!! Congratulations if you made it this far!

ROFL!!! 6 months of dating my ex and seeing his mom 3-6 times a week. Go over 1 day for coffee and couldn't stop sneaking looks at her. Not a new hair style or cut, no make-up, why did she look SO different???? I never noticed she never had her teeth in any time I had seen her before 😂😂😂😂 That was the 1st time! I told my ex later and he laughed. But I had eaten many meals w her, coffee almost everyday etc. I never thought to see if she had teeth, I just assumed she did 😂 that was over 43 yrs ago, what a funny memory! Thanks 👍
