OMG! Thank you George Conway!!! I’m a therapist with over 30 years experience and I was one of the clinicians sounding the alarm about the danger of Trump when he first became a candidate in 2015. For an experienced clinician he’s textbook. I was stunned that he was allowed to run. When people aren’t familiar with what someone with an actual cluster B personality disorder looks like, narcissistic or antisocial, they find it hard to believe someone can be that cruel, heartless or self-absorbed, but when you don’t have normal empathy, or a normal moral compass, you should NOT be in a position of power. Period.

I believe I am uniquely qualified to do so, based on my experience, and I was an excellent RN psyche nurse, with a good reputation with the doctors for making accurate assessments. Yes, malignant narcissistic with multiple intertwined self reinforcing personality disporders. He has outrageous delusions of grandeur and delusions of persecution. @@MontagZosoThe head of CBS at the time in 2016 said it all. Trump is good for their ratings. He gets clicks on their websites. Something new or some new aspect of some older scandal was breaking every other day. Biden on the other hand is normal. Normal doesn't draw eyeballs to the media. So they had to create issues to talk about. Four years of the constant torrent of garbage coming from his administration has people addicted to that daily torrent. @@KCBfly25 Thanks for liberating Europe with the UK in WW2 by the way !!! And influencing our constitution so power is not in one person. A prime minister is not as powerful as a president because parties have to convince with solutions an politics so no person cult can work. Look at Switzerland they even have a prime minister. This position is handed over in a legislative term to all ministers in the cabinet. Therefore politics is for ideas and this leads to more parties and way less polarization.

How republicans couldn’t see that or were willing to sacrifice their morals, their souls, their reputations for a chance at being close to power is shameful and pathetic. NEVER let these people forget what they were willing to put the people of this country through because of their own selfishness.

His lying and projection, not to mention his total ignorance were obvious in 2016. I saw it and I listened to podcasts by Keith Olberman who saw these things too. Trump actually told a rally audience in dead seriousness that when he met President Obama and his wife, Michelle, he knew they were devils because they "smelled like sulfur!" Years later, I read that this lie stems from crap they said about black people to justify slavery. It was a 19th century bell/whistle. Trump's family's racism has those roots.

Psychologists and historians made a big fuss about Trump’s mental issues in 2016, but no one paid any attention to them. The news has played down every time he slurs his speech and shows his obvious decline into dementia. Divorced a narcissistic mysogynist in the 90’s. He triggered me in 2015! So sad we had to deal with him for all of this time. Thank you to George for your work! Thank you to Tim and the Bulwark for your work!

I was married to a malignant narcissist. I saw it right away in Trump. I hope you can get the message out better than I've been able to - I've been trying for about 8 years!

Seriously, Rolling Stone Magazine deserves a medal! Their article about how the extremist Church leaders did a deal to get Trump elected was a real eye opener. Now with the election officials. Good work.

What does it reveal about the people who support him? I don't understand how they can see his behavior time and time again and still support him. God help our country.

He is a reverse savior. He acts out their sins and they redeem him for it. That's how reversals work. The energy goes the reverse way. But it all depends on sleight of hand and deceit. His first lie is that freedom is the same as license. His second lie is that it is a function of ego. With those 2 tricks he plugs his personal disorder into societal memes and he gets permission to be evil and self centered from the people who think he's out there being free.

Absolutely. Some people who have low self esteem are easily manipulated by those with narcissistic personality disorder and co-occurring sociopathic personality disorders. These individuals are often not capable of having any remorse for their actions and will always complain that it is anyone or anything else’s fault but their own.
