Beautifully said "Donald Trump is the representation of unchecked capitalism" and not representative of the working man
@chitownmo5 күн бұрын
This is true but he is ignores the fact thet the working class let it happen. They are just as culpable as the corrupt are as they are their primary workforce that supplies their capital thru their labor and consumerism. Yet they get no blame for it.

Everything is only partially true or only a "part" of the story. We consume for two reasons, one of which we can't get around... Want and need. In terms of the business, they could care less about the reasoning. Even that is probably only partially true. If I can sell you something you need, I can stay in business for as long as the need exist. The problem is for most of these politicians at the upper-level, donation money far exceeds that of the salary. Regular people making individual donations simply doesn't move these people to move in the way we need them to. The salary these elected officials bring in could be $200K a year, however the donated money can bring in upwards of a million or more yearly. If you notice they stay campaigning, even outside of the election cycle. Why$$$$ They've written laws to finesse the system so that they can keep a large percentage of unused campaign donation money. A Google search tells you the "how" of it. Not to mention "our" economy works because it's based on the exchange of goods and services for currency. If the business we spend with supported their candidates in silence this "fact" would be irrelevant. Blaming the consumer is low hanging fruit at best.

@easydoes-k9f The victims are part of the problem. They allowed it to happen. You are not powerless. They are continuously weakening the power of the individual though thru various laws and technological advancements. The powerful need the people to be pathetic for this to work. Why do you think they need so much propaganda? Or why our institutions such as public education are as they are? They were designed to produce human robots, not critical thinkers that could challenge their system. These same victims for decades voted for politicians supporting the issue of supported unfettered capital. Continued to support companies that committed economic and ecological disasters as well as fund political careers. Did they revolt? No. Did they commit a coup? No. Did they boycott companies enough? No. Most people cast of their civic responsibility for safety and comfort and this is one of the reasons why the world is the way it is: people unwilling to do what is necessary. People forget the United States was founded upon violent revolt. There were several successful coups the last few years that few Westerners bothered to look at it.

This is definitely going to be the case. No one wants to say it but we are in a Great Depression. People are doing anything to survive and people are working 2-3 jobs just to make while the rich get richer . A prime example of this man’s theory is the UHC CEO killer ; healthcare is out of control and he took a stand .

I agree with most of what this gentleman says. One thing he forgot to mention is that as the recession gets worse, the crime rate is going to increase. People are not going to sit around and do without basic necessities, if they can’t find a job or get any kind of help. They will steal and rob if they have to. I am still hoping we can elect intelligent, mature political leaders to guide this country. We just need the right people.

How is Trump good for the working class. Trump is a billionaire who nickeled and dimed labor unions at every turn. I was a carpenter on several of his projects in midtown New York. On a job that required 3 carpenters trump only wanted to pay for one. He ended up paying for 3 in the long run because one guy couldn’t handle it. There aren’t billionaire billionaires that care for the little guy. He only wanted your vote for power so he could take care of the rich.
