I bought a 1992 Lincoln Mark VII, Bill Blass Edition. $5000. It has 84,000 miles on it. I had the cooling system rebuilt and that's it. Besides being 30 years old and the paint showing some reentry burns from its last trip to outer space it runs great! I only wish I could have driven this car when it was new. It really is an amazing, smooth, powerful ride.

There is NO reason to think even if there is more manufacturing done in the USA the quality would be any better. The best manufacturing plants in USA and Canada are the Honda, Toyota and Subaru plants (Admitting the quality of Honda and Toyota has declined). Ford, GM and Stellatis have just failed in their engineering and manufacturing.

With Elon sucking up to trump, I would not be surprised if the Tesla government subsidies are expanded dramatically... That is until they have their falling out. Then, trump will likely get some payoffs from Chinese EV manufacturers. Expect to start seeing Chinese EVs taking over in the next couple of years. He's already reversed his position on Tik Tok after they gave trumps a big pay off. 🇨🇳 Will do the same for their EVs.

Bought a 25 Elantra N a couple months ago and I LOVE IT! Funnest fwd car I’ve ever driven. I’m a v8 truck guy but I won’t buy a new Silverado, my dad sold his new at4, it came from the factory with a crooked bed and they wouldn’t fix it. Hopefully the Hyundai holds up and they honor the 100,000 warranty. A real race/street car with a warranty is kinda crazy!

There is a real need to develop reliable plug-in hybrid vehicle with batteries that remain stable for thousands of charging cycles. I have my reliable 2012 Camry hybrid and my 2018 RAV4 hybrid. I wish that they were plug-in hybrids.

I drove the Hyudai Ioniq 5 and 6, and Kia EV6. And honestly, they are better than any TESLA. Maybe not in power, but in quality, even if you are saying they are bad. But maybe the EU models are better than the US ones. IDK.

They won’t be back. The uniqueness of the GM brands started to fade away in the 70s to the point where one GM car was about the same as another. (Badge engineering) You can’t keep 5 divisions afloat when they’re all doing the same thing. Especially in today’s economy.

3 days ago I heard a car dealer promote EVs...as he was speaking about a big shift in the auto industry.The only thing he touted was that his dealership outsold every other dealership in the region.He did not say one word about the benefits of owning one.The fact is the auto industry making these cars are going to be stuck with them or practically give them away.

Bought a 2012 Kia Sedona. Great car, until tranny broke at 190,000 miles. Every mechanic I know said, “Wow! 190,000! Those things are usually junk by 150,000.” Got our money’s worth, but Scotty’s right. Kia is junk.
