Interesting first point. I actually think one of the main problems people who don’t like Contrast-style paints are having is that they aren’t loading enough paint into the brush. They halfway load the brush and then have to go back to the pot or palette and then try to keep covering up the area they were working on. I think it is better to err on the side of overloading your brush. Contrast-style paints are very easy to mop up and adjust in the first ~5-10 seconds of laying them down, but if you miss that window you must wait for the layer to dry completely before going back to that section or else you have a high chance of the layer you were working on tearing in places and building up gross texture/staining. Just one man’s opinion. Good video, thank you for the great free content, Don.
