If I remember correctly the reduced timetable was just less AI traffic for slower PCs. In basic terms the AWS is a red signal warning. If you pass a yellow and the next signal will be red you have to acknowledge the alarm. You can see the yellow magnets on the track that are part of that. Theres a fuse box at back of the cab on the 801 to turn on the safety systems

Thanks a lot mate :) That makes sense, I’ll have a look around to see what I can find :) I guess I was kind of right with there being a 3 signal system then :)

Signals are in blocks of 3. A double yellow signal is essentially to tell you to slow down and prepare to stop > single yellow get ready to stop the next signal is red > red stop. You should have AWS on I believe you have to activate it in the cab somewhere

Thanks for the info mate, I’ll have a look around the cab next time I play. Apparently there is a button in the cab to turn on the AWS and it’s to warn of upcoming red signals! There is so much going on I can’t keep up :)

Thanks mate, I’m glad you liked it. There really doesn’t seem to be much interest in the Train Sim videos though, so I don’t think there will be more. I’ll just keep enjoying it myself in my downtime :)
