I had the wonderful privledge of seeing and meeting Altan. My family had a wonderful time and I love to experience their music over and over. I hope they can come back to Texas again.

I love the way the music builds. Altan are a brilliant band who deserve wider appreciation than they receive.

Absolutely glorious! I've been in love with Altan's music since the first time I heard "Donal Agus Morag/The New-Rigged Ship" on Narada's Celtic Odyssey. What an incredible group of musicians and they make it look so easy here.

Lovely on the high whistle -- also lovely as they performed it on low whistle for the 1997 album 'Best of Altan.' Quite different in mood.

It may sound to you all a bit strange but until today I had never heard of Altan. I've seen them today on France 24, and although I'm been for some years a passionate fan of the Chieftains, Altan are the definition of what I like about Gaelic music. Brilliant! Thanks for creating/playing such a beautiful music!

That's the way I feel about many of their numbers. This one can be found on their album "Altan" and also on "The Best of Altan."
