I was one of the kids in the band on the street! That was a fun day. They called our band director like 2 weeks before this and asked for a small group of us to come. Our marching band was about 3 times this size so there were a lot of disappointed kids! But we got out of school for the day and spent 7 hours on a bus each way for that 2 minute performance!

Meg is perfect proof that us New Yorkers are very nice ! So glad she obviously has a great boss ! Also so trusting Meg is and so funny how comically if you will David Letterman is SO VERY MUCH a creepy stalker 😂📺📡☎📞. I miss the old days growing up in NYC & this is one reason why, so much fun. An excellent chance but not for a while. I'm digitizing the shows in roughly chronological order (with exceptions like this) and am now up to late August 1987.

Is this the episode where Glenn Close stradles a guy in the audience [some plant] and hes despondent. Later, Dave takes a tennis server and fires tennis balls at the guy's head? That was my favorite episode.
