My two sisters and me were fortunate enough to be in the audience at that show! How awesome 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Grace was married to our brother, Skip Johnson

@@auralepiphanies4055 I had and still have a big crush on her during my Jr high school years In the mid 1960's. She was the reason why I always preferred brunettes.

She really could have been a comedian. The way she phrases things, like "Do I care? is the question?" is simply hilarious.

Grace was so beautiful back then, don't know why she went for the Sheena Easton look, she suited her long hair very well. Very intelligent lady too with just the right amount of mischief. She was a Punk Rocker before that phrase was even invented, cool lady.

people today cant understand just how out of style long hair all one length was then and how watching Brady Bunch reruns then the girls looked so outdated with their long hair parted in the middle, it seemed laughable, no one knew the late 70s and 80s looks would be so awful in retrospect and the hippie look seems timeless.

@Don Giller much thanks for this & links to the other interviews. My brother & I grew up watching Letterman & would have been watching during some of these. I know some people didn’t care for his humor, but we thought he was hilarious & would stay up way past our bedtime to watch. I’m so glad to find these interviews here because even though I remember & loved her music back then, I didn’t remember how wonderfully quirky & hilarious Grace was then. Keep replaying these interviews over & over. Thanks for posting them!!!

Its a pity interviewers always seem to ask her the same old questions, instead of having a bit of originality and digging a bit deeper. Grace is very profound, you can see that in her lyrics, but no, interviewers just seem to want the same old, same old.

For the billionth time: The questions are discussed and approved during every guest’s pre-interview with the show’s segment producer. The topics raised on-air are what the _guests_ choose to pursue.

I thought it was fine. Dave's actually a decent interviewer. And Grace is quick, witty, she has the ability to expound and ad lib. A great sense of humor. This seems to be missing, in our current realm.
