Saw this in my recommends after seeing the Return to Krocidle Isle video and can we just appreciate how far the animation has come along since this vs now, it is truly impressive! And here is hoping there will be more in the future!

Is this 3D with really convincing shading or 2D with really convincing shading?

It's a bit of both. The characters are cgi while the background elements are matte paintings

@@AlexHendersonAnimation Looking at some of your other work, it seems that Krusha and K. Rool are modified models of the poor Reptilian from that Breathing Space animation of yours.

@@JiJ1511 True, admittedly when I signed on to do the reanimated scene I had something more complex in mind, but time proved to be an issue so I remodelled those rigs to suit this scene as a time saving measure. I've gotten a lot better at building character rigs since then though :)

It most certainly is, from the episode, Kong For A Day, where King K. Rool has Krusha do Donkey Kong's voice (in effort to make Donkey Kong look even terrible), yet he instead, does K.Rool's. I died laughing at that scene, because I once expressed an interest in dressing as King K. Rool for Halloween as well as imitating his voice. Hope I get to do that someday.

I LOVE your design for the characters. Alligators are my favorite animal, and I've always wanted to get into animation to make a movie about one. Your style is perfect- The cartoon-y style gives it a way-better-than Pixar feel for me, and it's super eye-catching. Would you mind sharing what program you use to make these gems?

I use: - Maya for 3D animation (though Blender is free alternative that can get you similar results) - Krita for 2D animation (Though ToonBoom is more industry standard - Photoshop for BG Painting - After Effects for compositing - Premiere Pro for video editing
