»Critical Zones« Discussion on the Film »Storytelling for Earthly Survival« with Donna Haraway (biologist, philosopher, feminist), Bruno Latour and Peter Weibel
The exhibition »Critical Zones - Observatories for Earthly Politics« is about the critical situation of the Earth. Due to the Coronavirus it is also taking place at a critical time. A new Earth policy also requires a new exhibition policy: We are broadcasting!
The growing exhibition at the ZKM will be combined with a digital exhibition that will also grow steadily. The museum will become a »home museum« with a virtual accompanying program.
On May 22, 2020, from 6 pm CEST, the exhibition will open with a Streaming Festival lasting several days, which will span the weekend of May 22-24, 2020. The program will consist of streamed guided tours through the virtual spaces as well as through the real, but not publicly accessible exhibition, and will include interviews and lectures.

It is so interesting! And yet this passage from window to window, this manifold of different windows , works for me as a metaphor for European "closure". Europeans moving within their own networks that may make many around the world (despite the good will of the participants) feel like Julie Andrews when looking outside the window of a restaurant in Victor-Victoria.

the boundary between absolutely loving this woman and adoring the weaving of her thought is dissolving because of her strong objectivity that fully imrprints her in her presencing that makes me simply adore her very existence upon this earth. also i deeply appreciate this whole conversation, truly interesting.

- someone has to decide about how to keep the terrestrials in synchronization. who? - there's microbes in the flood, yes, but do they write history? - isn't asking about the narration a misstrust in the truth behind it? like it's just the sun and we can't do anything about it anyway - isn't eugenia something we do naturally when selecting our brood partners? - is there a carbon dioxide footprint graph for zkm exhibitions?
