Jannik is my favourite Canucks media guy now. Loved him when he played for the Canucks, and now he breaks down the Canucks like no other. Hope he is on TV with the Canucks next year...

How is Jannik not on tv more? He's so good!

Jannik makes a terrific analyst. He knows his stuff and he's concise and to the point. You get a lot of analysts who talk in very flowery language and don't really give you anything concrete that means anything, either to a hockey player or to a fan. He was also the perfect 3rd line forward. In many ways, he was Dakota Joshua except that he was a better skater.

I hard disagreed with Hansen when he said if Canucks lost game 6 then Edmonton would win the series, and I pretty much always agree with Hansen. Turns out of course he was completely right. He couldn't have been more right. Great, underrated analyst.

I feel Joshua and Zadorov would be my big team free agents to target. They bring the nastiness that is so important for playoff success to this team. While Myers will accept a pay cut, I don't see him accepting something less than 3 million, which would make him too expensive in my opinion. Lindholm and Hronek I would let walk (it would suck to lose Lindholm, but I agree with Hansen that you can't hold onto three centers while having essentially just one scoring winger in Boeser).

Completely agree, its Joshua and zadorov in that order as far as priority signings. I don’t want hronek at 6 million, let alone 8

Podkolzin could have been called up sooner and Mikayev benched. That said Petterson was scared out there.

As a huge Podz defender. I don't think he would have helped. Hoglander scored 20 goals this year and even he was a ghost in the playoffs. We need true top 6 wingers. Not potential top 6 wingers with Petey. At the very least we need one. Lindholm was great center insurance, but he's not a winger. It's why he didn't vibe with Petey as well as we'd hoped.

Petterson had a knee injury since January, had to watch out.
Game 7 at home - 12 shots over the first 2 periods AND your superstar has ZERO points. Enough said.

I hope JANNIK HANSEN's TWINS will be ready by 2036, The next YEAR OF THE DRAGON. If only HANSEN went with the CANUCKS in 2017 on top of the GREAT WALL of CHINA maybe, HE is the one to make sure the CANUCKS wear their LOGO and THE NEW HORIZON would have come instead of CHAOS.

Even at this age, the honey badger would have performed better for Vancouver than Pettersson did.

Petterson complained about. Tendinitis, but never gave himself a rest , coaching staff didn’t stand by his sore knee
