The Oilers didn’t start this journey over adversity this year. They’ve been at for the past 3 years or probably more. Edmonton have been working hard in the playoffs. One year Evander Kane scored a hat trick in the playoffs . All of the Oilers are well primed as individual players, to step up when it counts and win the Stanley Cup. That journey started long ago. That's true and Skinner just needs to hold it together and the rest of the team and finish the job. Connor McDavid has been prepping for this for years and the team is ready to support him so there's enough depth in the roster to go all the way. Skinner just needs to keep that 95% + save and they've got it.

Hey btw i’m a Leafs fan but, i love playoff hockey. Edmonton has been the only Canadian team left on the board. The past three years they have come up a little bit short. Some bad calls by the ref’s, or an errant puck bounce, things like that. To see the effort put in by those players, it was amazing to watch. They never quit. You could tell that they would be in the hunt for the Cup this year. Edmonton knows how to get the job done, even when it doesn’t look good. They will be the Stanley Cup Champions because of all the hard work they put in. They do not know the meaning of the word, quit. 🇨🇦🏆✌🏼🇨🇦✌🏼🏆🇨🇦✌🏼🏆🇨🇦✌🏼😁😁😁😁😁

Panthers are still the faves to win while the Oil remain under-dogs. Lets not forget, Cats need 1 win, the Oil need 2, and can't slip up for a single period. But oh man, an Oilers upset would be the story of hockey for the next century!

Bob played outstanding for 3 games but he's bound to come back to earth. He can't sustain that. Now it's Skinner's turn and he's been superb for both do or die games but can he hang on a third? It's a big ask.

This Oilers fan definitely did not think the Panthers would tie the game at 4-3. That's the difference with this team - there's a sense of calm confidence almost no matter what the situation.

I have played goal for 38 years and Bobrovsky did not stand up on that play like we were taught as you call it , old school. He should be hugging the post an his inside leg should be inside the net further and his stick should be in a position to stop anything on the ice. I dond know what the hell he was doing on that goal. He looked like the goalie on slap shot who never played goal in his life until he got that part in the movie.

Bob is on track for a Vezina and carried the team the first 3 games. Oilers was more aggressive with their shots but it was close. Game could have gone either way.

Still mind boggled over how Edmonton got through Dallas. But Edmonton’s first 2 rounds were both against 2 different pedestrian playoff teams in LA & Vancouver (who hadn’t made the playoffs in nearly a decade) while Dallas had just gone through massive battles with the last 2 Cup champions in the first 2 rounds. Florida needs to win this series, Dallas would’ve been a far better more competitive opponent splitting wins throughout a Cup Final series. If Florida was to lose this series and to lose in the Cup Final in b2b years then they deserve to be the laughingstock of the NHL. There are literally numerous teams throughout the league with much deeper offensive depth 1st-4th lines than the Edmonton Oilers yet those teams are eliminated. It’s a bit of a joke that the Oilers who run solely on their top 2 lines are even in the Cup Final.

If the ice in Miami is fit to skate on, and the referees don't decide to step on the scale, Edmonton will win game 7. And the NHL would reap great public attention from that result, even if it makes Bettman's tiny head explode.

Panthers certainly are determined to make this as difficult on themselves as possible. Oilers made some adjustments and now it's Florida's turn to make some adjustments of their own.

Cats know they've got odds on their side and both teams have solid offence. It'll come down to Bob vs Skinner. Bob has the long-term edge but Skinner just found his form. Give Oilers credit for fighting back to back do or die games but 3 in a row is tough.

The reason this Series is so close is because the Oilers inability to get the puck out of their own zone. Even while in complete control of the puck ! Poor Skinner had to stop the Panthers AND make up for countless blunders by Oiler defensemen. It was comical at times. The Oilers should have swept the Panthers.

It was so rigged, refs called diving to make it a four on four instead of a powerplay then gave the Oilers a powerplay late. Also Hyman ran the goalie yet gave a penalty to Florida. I'm not surprised cus the same ref is always involved.

Florida went -1 on their 3 powerplays anyway. Hyman got rode into the net by a Panthers defenseman, and if you're going to cry about that then Bennett and Tkachuk both ran over Skinner without any Oilers on them. Also the Oilers I heard are something like 0-9 against one of the refs going into this one. Cope harder
