Legendary basketball players can have better numbers then Paul George did and they will get criticized. People will say they would need to play better and people are saying Kawhi Leonard did not have a great game but people are making excuses for Paul George and how bad he played overall in this game. Paul George is not a legendary basketball player and since he was traded from Indiana he has been average overall in the playoffs for so many years and if he does not play better then Utah will definitely win this series short and sweet.

And the very very important key is “then at the end the other guys got involved” yes he got them involved. They weren’t shooting well but cuts and dunks at the rim then you do have a compile shooters that hot or not they can hit the shot if given the chance. Right now that’s the difference between Mitchell and Lilliard. Lilliard would’ve continued taking every shot especially if they single cover like the Clippers did tonight. And eventually that plan fails. Even Mike and Kobe carried the team but end of game you gotta get the others moving and contributing.

I would love to see the league stop calling that foul completely, or maybe even start calling it an offensive foul. It could be a simple rule, any time there is a pump fake, offensive player has same rules of verticality as every other part of the game. If they initiate contact, offensive foul. It would stop the Trae Young, James Harden bs fouls immediately. The entire league would stop doing it. Everyone recognizes it when they see it so why allow it?

For exemple Paul George is 6-8 but only 220, just 5pounds more than Mitchell and Batum is 6-9 but only 201pounds, 14less than Donovan ... So he is short but he isnt a small man, Iverson was the same height but only 165pounds, so Donovan is 50pounds heavier than him ... If you have closely followed the Jazz during the regular season they have always relied on perimeter heavy def because of Gobert. The low FG% of the Clipp stars are attributed with that as well as the fatigue from the previous series against the mavs. Its also good to point out that the jazz had a horrible first qtr with 21 straight missed FG. Tonight Spida showed up and carried his team which usually operates with balance scoring load amongst JC, Boggie, Conley and Spida.

@Anthonydu016303 жыл бұрын
Im with you, Utah have the best chance to beat them. Gobert is the best defender in the league, 7ft1 with a monster wingspan of 7ft9 so i think he is the only player who can guard KD, they have Donovan mitchell, the next D.Wade, who is super explosive and powerful with great handles, he is one of the best at attacking the rim and also a great shooter, they have the best 6th man of the year Clarkson Who can dropp 40off the bench and great shooters and perimeter defender like Mike conley, bogdanovich and Joe ingles. They are the most complete team in the league, they can score in every way and can defend, the only thing they lack is experience, but they are hungry, very hungry i can see that and its not a hazard if they have the best record in the league. I hope this will be the final because these 2 teams are fantastic to watch.
@thelawofdivineoneness4583 жыл бұрын
@@Anthonydu01630 Yup you got it Tony. You explained it better than I did. Although you won't see much of Gobert defending KD (and vice versa) because they both would end up being in foul trouble. Gobert will stay in the paint and KD spend most of his time on the perimeter. You are right about Utah being the most complete team in the league. They are the #1 seed for a reason but matching up with the Nets will be a tall order. I love Donovan Mitchell, I love the great shooting of Bogdanovich and Ingles but Conley has to play too in order for them to have a chance.
