Trent has come across as someone who can only plays a very specific role in the team. Personally, i think RWB is the best position for him in somewhat a 3-4-3 formation. He is a liability playing solely in the defense and he do not have the pace and flair to play as a winger hence why RWB is best for him. The right winger will do the running for him while the right midfielder and centerback will cover for him while he do what he do best as a dead ball specialist.

The problem with England teams over the years and now is that, they have so many average and below average players that they over hype because some foreign players in their respective clubs make them look good. But when you bring them together then you see how average they are. Trent good right back going forward but because he plays in a klopp system where Liverpool play long balls alot and Salah knows what to do with it or when klopp tries him in midfield because of the foreign players he looks good. If you end up playing gordon at lw, you have to have Trent starting as RB. His long passes plus pace on the wings will be killer. Importantly a if you end up with the mid of Jude, mainoo, rice, gallagher or even foden, there is zero creative players there, you'd need trent at rb to offer that.
