My room was a bit cold (being Winter here in Australia), I was just about to turn the heater on but the Waldorf analogue synth string samples were so warm I didn't need the heater! What a lovely sweet sound, far sweeter than the synths of today!
@germanshepherdlover26133 жыл бұрын
@Rhizosphere me too, the vc340 does nothing for me. But Behringer have a new Solina string clone on the horizon that sounds spot on. I wish they would clone the Eminent 310
@ashfaq1999 Жыл бұрын
I have the original eminent solina, This is by far one of the best units at creating that swirling phaser sound. At 14:40 mins & seconds it’s almost identical 🎶

3.40 onwards sounds like Airwolf. love the description on Waldorf's site: "...eight voice solo section, which is essential for recreating how adult movies sounded thirty years ago..."

this video sells it the best. I dissed this box based on the poor demos elsewhere on youtube and now I feel kinda foolish. Waldorf have not done a great job at marketing it. I can tell you based on this vid and as someone who has owned a few String Ensemble machines in the past , this is most definitely a bona fide String Machine. I would describe it sonically as a very clean sounding Crumar Multiman/Orchestrator. A real Italian job. Instead of paying thousands on old 70's gear this would defo be the way to go
@robyoink7 жыл бұрын
Waldorf owes you some commission, because you just sold me a Streichfett. Great demo of all the sounds you can get out of this unit. Those sounds are exactly what I want out of a poly unit, since I already have some great mono synths.

Thank you for the great video of the Streichfett and especially for the part from 3:15 to 4:06. That reminds me on summer holidays in 1979 when I was 6 and my parents and me driving through Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, etc.

The video makes me realize we all have sound that we need to share. I thought I was happy with my setup and done buying equipment. However this is next level beautiful. Someone invented electronic sounds that stayed within their modest house just like all of the rich indeed immersed in their little world of All our life hoarded the sound that was never heard all around it's so darn easy to think the same that hoarding takes the blues away. All our life we hid the truth Perpetuated lies and sold fake news Create misperception so we could gain More in life we could take away But then the craziness ends with one last breath did transcend and found above a better view beyond the world of... fake news. Someone invented electronic sounds somewhere in the world where we live now its so darn easy to think the same that hoarding will take the blues away.

Great demo. I just ordered one of these, and this video confirms that it was a pretty good buy - at least if I can make it sound like you do! So where did the old video elements come from (like the drive-through-the-countryside footage)? Is this just royalty-free stuff you found on the web?

I just ordered one last night. Should be here this week. I love the sounds. Very classic sounding. I just got an Acuna 73. I love the feel. I have been playing the sounds in Logic and they are not that great. I plan on getting the Blofeld. I like the rocket and the pulse as well. Do you think the novation bass station is inferior to the pulse 2 ? It's more money but is it better than the bass station ? I don't need the keys of the bass station obviously because I have the Acuna. Just getting into synths. Don't know much about them. I had a motif 6 years ago but only used it for drums really. Thanks.

Just purchased the Streichfett and I'm loving it but do find if I have the volume on full there is digital noise after the reverb tails and the ensemble button is a bit temperamental sometimes it works first time other times I have to press it 3-4 times to get it to engage. How you finding it have you noticed any strange behaviour?

So I want one all day, but after 20 minutes of it, I felt like I was on the longest call "please hold for your next representative" ever. the sampling at the end was the best part. I have been doing synth demos for almost 12 years now, way back on Sealed's deepsynthesis.net. We had over 1 million total views back then (now unfortunately avail only on webarchive). The only similar thing that existed back then was Synthmania.com. If you're referring to visual part, then again no. My 4 year old "Roland SH-101 subtractive synthesis" video is exactly the same style - i always mix a bit of external & synth imagery. Reason is: I don't have a video camera. I would occasionally borrow it, hence why my resources were limited, and if faced with empty video space i can either: 1) put some external video or 2) do some animations myself. I've studied photography and really DON'T need any external help to do a video. Cheers!
