Was literally the first game that made a 3D shooter like this. It was revolutionary, the controllers we use today were modelled off off one that was made exclusively to play halo. It’s literally one of the main origins of the shooter genre other than some fun 2D shooters

Just a word of advice dontai when fighting hunters they are most vulnerable in the back. Where the armour tread ends and the orange skin is exposed. Also always have a long range weapon with you at all times. In the later missions I use the army pistol because it’s powerful and is very close “range wise” with the sniper that’s zoomed in

Holy Shit!!!! This is so dope. Note: Please play in classic graphics mode as the music is much much better. In anniversary mode they mess up the placement of music and change a lot of it, and one of the best things about Halo is its music. Anniversary graphics also doesn't really set the tone of Halo's art style, for Combat Evolved at least. Halo 2 Anniversary is a bit better but honestly you won't regret playing the Halo games in classic mode. It'll make it more apparent why this franchise really is one of the greatest in Gaming history.
