58:10 This really resonated with me, because I have a similar passion and goal. I love seeing the development of firearms, as well as other things, over time, and seeing how the inner function has changed. I love seeing how militaries reacted to the major changes, like being able to field rifles as a mainline weapon, and not a specialist's weapon, all because manufacturing rifled barrels became something that a machine could do instead of needing a master gunsmith. The hows and whys are such a fascinating topic to me. I also have the dream of acquiring one of each mainline US service rifle, from the 1766 Charleville muskets the French gave us and the 1795 Springfields which were a clone of the '66 made with tooling the French gave us to start Springfield and Harper's Ferry, to the M4A1 and the new M5 if it takes off the way the Army seems to want it to. I know some of those are prohibitively expensive if I can even find them, which is why I'm all for settling for reproductions. Plus I get to have fun with repros that I couldn't with originals, and it still can start that conversation about the weapon, even if it wasn't made in time to participate in the events it was used in.

@@dianeadkins-diorio1783 sorry, but hell no. Women should never be placed in a position of authority. Aging single cat ladies are why every single government agency is a complete shit show. Just visit your local DMV, almost universally female led, and it is a inefficient mess and you are constantly dealing with some empress who has to wield her petty authority at every opportunity. Women are way too insecure to run anything. Just look at cackling Kamala, or Hillary Clinton for example.

The 6.5 is basically the 264 win mag that Remington came out with in the late 50's early 60's just for long range elevation hunting of mule deer, and elk. That's the way I have seen it explained by couple old school gun specialists out there in the hunting world. The 300 mag basically knocked it out of having a good chance of becoming popular, and some of the original guns had issues with burning the barrels out. Then they went to Stainless Steel, and it's more in the neighborhood of 2,500 rounds of hard shooting before you start having any noticeable effects on the barrels. But it's faster than most, and definitely shoots flater most hunting rounds, plus has outstanding long range characteristics compared to the Creedmoor rounds even. That's according to many articles, and people who have actually done the comparison. Then looking at the stats on the different rounds produced by various companies show that the 264 out shoots most on paper. Which is hard to be realistic because none of them are known for true accuracy on the numbers they say they get on their ammo. Even the 260 caliber is in this same group of this caliber, this is what's published about these various calibers that fit the criteria. Shoot me if I got the information wrong, but this is my understanding of what I have learned about it.

In regards to the FPSRussia arrest. The warrant initially said (roughly, of course) that since he was wearing basketball shorts, he couldn't possibly be heading straight home after picking up his mail, which the feds knew at that point, contained approximately 14g of weed. That's not a whole lot of weed, just so we're clear. He also, maybe, POTENTIALLY smoked a joint with his girlfriend on occasion, which "proved" his intent to distribute. At first the case was dismissed at the state level because the Judge thought obtaining a warrant over shorts was stupid, and it absolutely is, but because he had a bunch of firearms and explosive licenses, he was sentenced at a federal level.
