And likely the Bible if anything, is a text meant to trick or deceive people into following an evil entity. Old test god is evil, no arguments you can make there. “Hey satan, let’s make a bet, I’ll show you how MUCH people love me” -stage left, enters job
@grandadmiralsuntzu506611 ай бұрын
@@lindboknifeandtool My friend have you even read the Bible? Everything you just said is in direct contrast to the abundantly clear wording and message of the Bible. The message of the Bible is about the salvation God offers to us despite our fracturing of his perfect world. Furthermore, the God of the Old Testament is no different than the God of the New Testament. Both offer a hope in darkness, both bring justice to evil, both show an immeasurably loving, faithful, and merciful God. If Wendigoon, who explores all these horror stories in ridiculous detail is a devout Christian, you really think he'd be ignorant of what he himself believes? Especially considering he explained the Gospel in depth? If God is evil as you say then why does he offer you grace in the Bible, why does he offer you mercy in the Bible, why does he offer YOU--the person declaring him as evil--a hope for LIFE in the Bible? This God has said, in his Word the Bible, that he wants YOU to live in freedom away from the destruction you're walking towards. My friend, there is a hope in this life and beyond and it has been offered to you. I hope that you'll take Christ's hand and follow him out of darkness into the light of life! I want to see you in glory one day! I want you to be there, more joyful than we could ever understand! God has done the hard part, Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross taking your sin on himself so you can be free from suffering and evil! All you need to do is decide. Will you repent of your wrongdoings and follow him onto the light of life? Or will you remain in darkness... I beg of you, do not let these words fall on deaf ears. Consider them! Will you follow Christ? Or will you,--now knowingly--walk off the cliff into death eternal? I pray that the God of everlasting glory will draw you closer to him, and that you would follow Christ into the joy, hope, life and light he offers! I mean this with all the sincerity of my faith!

@connor48880 In earlier podcasts superpowers are discussed. They made an "Offenders" superteam where everyone is allowed to pick their own super power, while the others on the podcast at the time find anoffset to the power. This has been an ongoing thing with many of their guests being asked what powers they want (and aren't already taken by others) and the rest of those present discussing hilarious offsets to that power. Cody's power he chose was flying, the offset that the others gave him was he has to shout racial slurs while he's using his power. Not sure how much time you have to burn, but the earlier podcasts are all amazing, and the "Offenders" discussions never fail to be hilarious with any of their guests.

Thank you Eli, Brandon, Nick, Cody, and every one I’d your amazing friends. Every one of your guys channels has helped me through a lot of things and I can’t express just how much I appreciate you all. Especially this time of the year. As I lost my grandfather, who was like a father to me, to lung cancer back in 2015. I was visiting him and my family at the time because he was on hospice and we didn’t know how long he was going to be around for. So my father, who had full custody at the time (now im 23 and an adult) let me and my brother go visit before he passed. Had to watch him pass, and in a rough way, that Christmas mourning. It broke me to the core for years after and the holidays just hasn’t been the same. Doesn’t help that my younger brother and his wife and kid are not visiting this year. Hes the only one that understands, and is spending time with his in-laws before he has to head back to base. Don’t see him very often since he’s in the navy, so it’s just been a tough time. Gosh, sorry, just all came out, my apologies. I hope you all and all my fellow viewers here have a merry Christmas and happy holidays. If any of you are going though as hard a time as me, don’t be afraid to leave a message and know someone is here with you.

The impact that SAR series had on NoSleep can't be understated. I remember being subscribed to the subreddit in the following months, and every other story posted involved the forest, people going missing, cryptids, working for a park, etc. in some way for quite a while.

Grew up in the NC woods, the most horrifying thing i ever ever witnessed was this one time me and some boys were hiking one evening and saw a deer standing in a clearing. It was just dark enough to make out only the outline. We stopped to watch it and it just stopped grazing, hopped up into its hind legs, looked at us with glowing eyes then pranced into the tree line. Still haunts us to this day thinking about what the hell that thing was.

I get your point for sure. For me it has already replaced JRE as my favorite podcast. So long as Unsub keeps this trajectory and more people see the JRE as rolling on its downhill... Unsub has every bit'o potential to make it very far in the game. I remain totally optimistic!

I'd put it at top 3. SRS and JRE are good on their own right.
@RichardCranium32111 ай бұрын
@@ASqdrnDASRS is good sometimes, but REALLY bad sometimes. It's clear some of his guests are full of shhyt and lying through their teeth..... Like the one guy who was a janitor at a facility in Antarctica but swore we had alien crafts and off earth technology buried under the ice, 99.5% of his episode sounded like total horse shhyt. But then he has on people like Tony Cowden or the ethical white hat hacker, and you can tell they're reliving their stories in realtime.

I have visited Dachau when I was in high school back in the 90's. The sheer scale of that place is mind numbing even today when I think about it. As a vet I have been through some crazy stuff but visiting the "camp" more like death factory left a bigger impact. I cannot put into words to feeling I had just walking though it. Seeing the ovens in the back of the camp to walking through the stock houses that they housed the prisoners.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you. 2023 has been the year from hell for me, and all you have helped make it a little more barrable. A while back, I believe it was the one introducing the new guests, y'all talked about content creation, your love for it, and all that you've learned. That really inspired me, but Wendigoon's content and personality in particular caused me to really think about what I was doing with my life. He and I have a lot of similar interests, and even look similar (I'm like Wendigoon and Donut's illegitimated love child). I'm a long time fanfiction writer and Redditor with a dying fandom, and I'm currently writing several books that I've been having difficulty with due to 2023 being the year from hell. A week and a half ago I got my hands on a microphone and have been playing with recording and editing software, and posted my first video earlier today. I just wanted to give a big thank you to Brandon, Donut, Wendigoon, Eli, and Fat Electrician (and Baddie and all of the guests from this past year) for making it possible. I don't know where KZbin will take me, but at the very least it's been fun and is good experience talking in front of a mic. Thank you again, and much love and support to all of you. God bless, and Merry Christmas.

I love the guy, and he's truly an inspiration as both someone I'd like to emulate in front of the camera or behind the mic, but in my personal life as well. I could listen to Wendigoon talk about the Bible all day. Awesome stuff, and while I don't know whether anyone else at the table is a Christian, it really says something that he can hold the attention and interest so many non-Christians by the way he speaks, not as a preacher, but someone who's interested in this sort of thing. His obsession with cryptids translates into Bibliology, and I just find that fascinating.

Wendigoon's shpiel starting at 10:25 about people who live in the woods having a belief in the unexplained is spot on. I also live in Appalachia and there are places near me that I wouldn't go with a team of navy seals after dark. There are some things you just don't mess with, and some places you just don't go. And these hills have stories.

I had a VERY weird experience during the tail end of the pandemic that this episode brought back in a rush! I'm from San Antonio and I was invited to a friend's place in Houston. I didn't know something rather startling about the city, it has underground shops downtown. Like you walk towards a Chase Bank HQ, go in the building and turn right, there's a set of stairs leading down. And there's offices, restaurants, shops, the whole bit. Well it's like 2 pm on a random Friday and NOTHING is open, no people except us. Creepy as hell!

I relate to Wendigoon throughout this podcast so much. It feels like when I hang out with my non-Christian friends. I love 'em, and they love me, but man do they like pushing my buttons at times with the content of conversation or jokes they make. Wendigoon handled it amazingly. This whole episode was hilarious as a result, and I'm glad Wendigoon was able to get some hard hitting truths in at the end without needing to get preachy. Those were really good to hear.
