When I was 9 years old, I was playing with some hotwheels at school and there was this one car that was really slick and different looking. It just looked fast. I said, "I'm gonna have one of these one day." I flipped the car over to see what kind it was and that was the first time I read the word Lamborghini. Fast forward to today, 21 years later. I look in my garage to see, sitting in the dark: nothing. I rent, I don't have money for a garage, let alone a Lamborghini. What, did you think this would be an inspiring story or something?

A few years ago I was at a gas station in Utah in my 2006 LPE-606 c6 z06 corvette and enjoying my night, when a sound I’d never heard neared , I turned to the entrance and here come the first Countache I’ve ever seen and it flew in the entrance bashing the shit out of the front lower bumper dragging it up the slope and the drive pushed on the accereator forcing the bumper up the concrete. I wanted to cry, it was a worse sound than nails on a chalk board. The legend pulls in in front of my car and I notice it’s disgustingly dirty, surely hadn’t been washed in a good 6 months or more and the back of the car up the tail above the exhaust tips was black from the exhaust fading up the paint it was so sad, door opened and a freakin 16 year old kid gets out , I recognized him as one of the slammed Subaru STI kids , his was pretty awesome, full interior cage , Rotta wheels and a big turbo. I walked up and had to see if it was a real one or replica and it was real, I asked him what the story was and he said his grandpa was Charles Schultz , the Peanuts cartoon comic writer. He passed away and his daughter, this kids mom moved into his alpine utah mansion and apparently it had an under aground garage with a bunch of 80’s exotics. He said they never drive them becasue their a pain in the ass and uncomfortable and I wanted to punch him in the mouth. I told him it was a dream car of mine and that he really needs to have it detailed. He laughed and then got in driving off. How could a young kid not appreciate driving a damn beautiful red Countache??? So sad.
@ericcindycrowder74822 жыл бұрын
The drivetrain packaging between the Miura and Countach was a little more nuanced. Because the v12 in the Miura was transverse, the gearbox was mounted inside the engine crankcase for packaging. This raises the engine higher in the chassis than it normally would’ve be, which is bad for Center of Gravity. By putting the gearbox in front of the engine in the Countach, both the engine and gearbox can be lower in the chassis which lowers the CG which is good for handling and safety,

Ferrari flat 12 described is not a Boxer Configuration, this engine opposing pistons shared a crank pin and moved in unison, the boxer configuration requires separate crank pins for these. In essence, if viewed from behind the car the 2 opposing pistons would move to the right or left @ the same time, boxer config indicates they move in opposite direction @ all times. It is not like a Subaru or Porsche. From a engineering perspective it is like saying the 458 Italia V8 is like a the current standard Mustang V8, because they're are both V8's with 32 valve heads.

MOANING SOUNDS beautyzone.cam/Sofia Sofia is a beautiful girl. 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 He's the person I love, he's my light day. The way the music flows and sounds is extravagant and fun. Loo is icon, legend, beautiful girl, princess, inspiration, a star. I could go on and on, understand this. I love NBA Loo.#垃圾

Tell you what, you guys sure know how to keep people engaged the ENTIRE video. I came here with the intent of only watching 5-10 minutes tops, but when the video ended I was like, "wait, thats it?" before realizing I had been sitting here for the past 22 minutes lol.

i got through it in less than 10 minutes. My formula is simple: every time james starts yelling, I fast forward till he stops. There's literally less than half of the episode where he actually talks lol

Great video, man. But there's one thing: minute 7:20, Lamborghini was an excellent business man and his car company was doin' great. In the late 60s, the Bolivian government ordered 5000 Lamborghini tractors and the company went into debt to produce them quickly. Meanwhile, there was a coup d'état in Bolivia and the tractors remained unsold. In order not to go bankrupt, Ferruccio was forced to sell the car branch of his company.

Yes! The scholastic book fair is where we all got them! It’s so funny that a book fair would be the only place we could find such posters or any printed material for that matter about cool cars even though they held it in the schools library!

❤I love this video at large but starting the YEAR with a GREAT INVESTMENT should be the wisest thing every individual should do. I will advice everybody who is into crypto to stick with ETH and BTC as much as you can guys.If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream maybe lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind.

I picked up a countach poster at the scholastic book fair in 1989 at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine elementary school in South Philly! It hung up on my wall next to my Def Leppard poster.

James mt brother from another mother I've been saying this for years as a 30 year tow truck vet and a absolutely certified professional car psycho, this is the story that Lamborghini should lean on with there current status in the supercar world. Preach my brother!! We need to talk I've got ideas!! And the ability to produce crazy content!! Ijs!!

Had posters of a Countach and a Testarosa as a kid. Definitely the top two dream cars for most kids back then.

I would love to see a video of all the other cars Lamborghini made during the same production as the Countach. I believe there were some although I don't see much about them. How did they compare to the Countach. Either way love this video. Keep up the great work. Can't wait till the next one.

I literally purchased a Countach poster and Goosebumps books at my elementary school book fair! So funny how that was a seriously standard thing for kids of our age group.

I need the editor or whoever to know that the flying car graphic with the shark mouth or whatever was The greatest thing! The float and timing was just great and so cool in the background while James preached the good word of the greatest car he's ever seen

The 25th Anniversary Countach in Silver was on my wall as a kid. I first discovered the car in Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit. There was a slideshow that had "Monster" by Rom Di Prisco playing in the background. I was absolutely captivated. It's still my #1 dream car, but prices are soaring. A black LP 5000 QV just sold for over half a million near me. I'd like to think I could afford one someday if I play my cards right, but at this point, the closest a lot of kids from my generation will get were those fantastic hero shot posters we all drooled over. It's the car that kickstarted my love for everything automotive.
