Great to see this whole build. Money Pit inspired me to buy my own NB miata and start wrenching on it. Owned it for 2 wondeful years, learnt a lot about cars, had lots of fun working on it and even more fun driving it. Did lots of not-totally-necessary stuff to it, but also got myself out of a few jams, including replacing a busted radiator on the miata (and then subsequently another car with the know-how I gained from working on the miata) and a failed clutch master/slave cylinder. I've since sold the car, but my 2 years of owning her are forever happy memories. You just can't beat the feeling of rolling around town on a hot summer day with the top down

Car was just not fast enough so I bought headers and an intake , price not here cuz I didn't stick with them. I did need a new soft top, think I paid something like 150 for it, original had holes. I also got a hardog roll bar I think 600$ after shipping ugh. 6 speed and 3.9 swap for about 500$ and a 4 puck sprung clutch. Then I got a incredible opportunity to buy a flyin miata turbo kit, think that was about 4500$. Needed 800 for an ecu, 300 for injectors, and 850$ for a tune, 200 for a dual boost controller. 50$ for a radio (miata came with the mazda bose amp and speaker setup). So I spent about 16K on mine.
