except that would mean it is for cosmetic only and not performance.. You just learned on this video how those aero parts you think are "rice" and do nothing that plenty of people and every racer spends thousands on practically do help performance. Yes it has to be balanced etc, but to say that aero is "rice" only and not performance your just being ignorant. If you think that some people that mod their don't take their cars they drive on the road to the track , you are also very wrong... The whole point of this is for performance, not to mention when you want more performance without ruining reliability etc, or are staying NA. these are crucial for bettering your lap times. Have you seen time attack cars that have insane aero and change it up and make it more insane every year and are getting better and better times every year? lol....

A few things. Downforce isn't measured in G's. It is measured in kilos or pounds. G-force is the acceleration that the driver experiences while they are in the car. This force can pull at them in different axis (i.e. Gx (front-to-back), Gy (side-to- side), or Gz (head-to-toe) (Potcanowicz & Mendel 2013, p. 570). The best examples of under body downforce are the Lotus 79 (which uses ground effect) and the Brabham BT46B (which used a fan better than the Chapparal 2J).
@Beastobitchio6 жыл бұрын

cristofor pelic I'm pretty new to the car scene, so I'm still trying to learn. These videos are actually super informative to me.
@Dingbobber6 жыл бұрын
DeVan Helmoski oh, well I was replying to the guy in the comments saying “it doesn’t”. But anyway, toe and camber effect the angle in which the tires are pointed. Toe in let’s the wheels be pointed inwards which puts force on the center of the car, allowing for better cornering as the tires don’t have to turn as much going around a corner. Outward does the opposite TDLR; Negative Toe points inward and is better for conering. Positive toe points outward and is better for straight line stability. From what I understand camber and toe are very alike but feel free to correct me (corrections, camber changes the angle of the wheels tilt, while toe changes if they point in or out, they both have like effects)
