Benjamin Burkhardt, no (neither is the new Velar), but Tata now turned the Range Rover, which used to be a single model and then two with the "Stormer" or Sport, into a whole (more luxurious) sub-brand within Land Rover, Discovery (more of a mass-market look) and Defender (rugged, no nonsense look) being the other two. With the exception of the "Stormer" or Sport all 3 sub-brands will have their equivalent of each other, being at last filled up by 3 Defender models in the next 2-4 years.

@jannadrielcervo77535 жыл бұрын
@@arnehurnik Problem is they move the Range Rover more upmarket that puts loyal customers out of reach. They are also doing it stupidly to the whole rest of the Land Rover lineup. The future Defender might be so expensive to the loyal customers and it won't be as hardcore as an offroad utilitarian vehicle as it used to be for decades. Land Rover truly lost its character and what makes it great. Now its just an overpriced SUV brand, an iPhone of the SUVs. The true last Land Rovers would be the late 90's and the early 2000's. Except the Freelander.

I have a Range Rover. Never had a single issue yet. I popped a tire on my Velar off roading. Got it replaced just at a big O tires. And had it pumped with air, drive around for a min just like the video said and the error code went away and everything was perfect. And my whole life I thought this car is going to cause a ton of issues... well my wife told me otherwise haha. It’s her car. And so far she is right! We just took it on a road trip and let me tell ya, I’m only 30 but my back is toast from playing football too many years and this car didn’t hurt it once in 12 hours of driving. It was the most comfortable fun car for a road trip I’ve ever driven! And although my wife may have convinced me on the car, I picked the trim level... p550 SVAutobiography Baby! She drives all nice and quite and slow, and that’s fine but when it’s my turn, you bet I turn those horses up! The car is seriously impressive. It’s almost as if car and driver just straight up lies to the american people (I.e. what they said about Tesla’s, or the Koenigseggs, or Rovers). I wonder what other awesome cars they lie about to hate on. 🤔 who’s paying them off... well either way, the car is a beast. It’s expensive, but we love it! Got a 5 year warranty on it too. And it’s just a great car. If your a car guy or gal, I doubt you will have issues either. Take care of your car and your car takes care of you.

You want to what breaks all the time in this video? Is that damn GE microwave in the background during his sponsorship box he’s talking about. That thing, looks great, worked well but is a piece of crap. After the first year the door handle broke. It’s plastic, so I call the company figuring there’s a warranty, yeah so they said user error, even though there are grip loads of the same complaints, and tried to charge me $330 to replace the handle!!! I told the guy to get lost and used some super glue. Three months later the microwave stays on and keeps running even if the time expires or you click stop. If you close the door, it kicks on and begins melting. So I unplugged it, and bought another one for $250, I hope this ones better. But I couldn’t believe I could buy a new one on sale for $250... but the door handle part he was trying to charge me $330! Haha!

Jonah Werbelow, now that's a COMPLICATED one, since they deal in not only bikes and boat engines, but car engines (for Toyota and Ford) and musical instruments (their logo consists of three piano tuning forks, y'all). As a stopgap until James tries his hand at this try for Company Man's YT video on Yamaha. It'll give James some idea of what I'm talking about... PS: Japan's first notable sports car, the 2000GT, was made for Toyota by Yamaha after being rejected by Nissan...

This Buick V8 was a great engine, even with the short-lived head gaskets. It was also in the MGB-V8 which was not imported to the USA because of emissions standards. This engine actually weighed 40 lbs. less than the cast iron block & head I4 it replaced. Wonderful engine!!!!!!
@jordanwiley45825 жыл бұрын
Fun fact: that 215 Buick V8 was also loaned out to Oldsmobile. Olds tweaked it a bit, and added a turbo. Yes, a turbo. In 1962. Oldsmobile cutlass Jetfire. Don't forget to fill up on Turbo Rocket Fluid (water/meth injection)! It already had over 10:1 compression, so to eliminate detonation, that was Oldsmobile's solution. It made 215 hp at 4,600 rpm and 300 lb⋅ft at 3,200 rpm. The cutlass, and the '62 corvair monza spyder were the very first *production* american turbocharged cars.
