That's a good solution. Mine was this: once I realized that my own road rage was the cause of almost ALL of my road rage incidents, I calmed down behind the wheel, and slowed down on the road. I started driving defensively, safely and courteously. It's not that I'm any better than others, it's just that I don't want to be "that rager guy with the me first attitude" anymore. Suddenly, I don't have nearly as many incidents as before. Although it doesn't taste too good, swallowing my pride doesn't hurt me, and it actually makes driving much more pleasant and safe. If they keep it up, the jerks will eventually reap what they sow, but I don't need to be the one who makes them. I'll remember your comment next time this happens to me, though! 🤣

I got pulled over for speeding once and I was very obviously drunk. The cop came up to my window and asked if I had been drinking and at that moment I figured there was no point in denying it, so I said yes I have been. He gets me out of the car and tells me he’s going to do a sobriety test and I say, “don’t bother, I’m hella drunk. Just take me to jail”. I figured it was easier to just admit it and deal with my bad decisions. That was my one and only dui.

This is exactly why I do NOT engage in road rage, even if I am on the right. The other person may be carrying but I am always carrying and I don't want to shoot anyone. I would rather be called names and ehstnot then to get into a situation where I or someone else shoots. I just swallow my pride and ignore or apologize and then move on.
