Right I don’t have a problem with the leg sweep itself but that guy’s head hitting the bricks so hard could have been deadly or caused brain damage. It could have been a mistake but idk that’s a scary mistake (in this specific situation I’m not saying leg sweeps should be banned or anything).

Woodsy CSGO You can't say whether it was moral or not as a blanket answer. Morals vary greatly from person to person. The guy started resisting and the cop stopped him. The cop had no intention of harming the dude, and even called medical in to check him out. If that's not considered moral, I don't know what is.
@theevillekid81187 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. The leg sweep in itself wasn't excessive or harmful, but the result was. As i said above, I don't blame the officer for the way the subject fell, since once he swept his legs, the rest was up to gravity.
@dennislp37 жыл бұрын
Reminds me of the case of Danielle Maudsley kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKOnoKtqrL51orM I am all for police....but comments like this scream blind ignorance "Well you know the cop just stuck his leg out and the guy threw himself at the ground! Hardly the cops fault!". Much like the bullets out of a gun the police are responsible for the safety of their actions. Obviously that's easier said than done and I don't expect perfection at all times in every action a cop takes. That said there are some cases like this that make me cringe at least a little bit and think "Did you really have to use that much force to make the arrest?" Had the guy been posing a physical threat (I don't think it was at that point) slamming his head against the ground would have been justified. But when you are dealing with a guy that much smaller than you and drunk as he was, that level of force seems unwarranted especially when you are holding his hands behind his back and he is unable to catch himself. The leg sweep was fine...the force it was carried out with was excessive. Simple as that. This guy didn't have any lasting injuries as far as I know so no harm, no foul and he pretty much deserved it on the grounds of being a drunk fool. But just like how one punch can unexpectedly kill someone, a hard hit to the head like that is a recipe for brain injuries and death.
@001Andrew1007 жыл бұрын

That obviously wasn't appropriate force. The guy turned to look at someone, didn't even move his feet and the 'force' generated appeared to affect the cop about as much as a slight breeze. All he had to do was yank his arm back again, finish cuffing him and he could have avoided potentially inflicting brain damage on someone for having a little too much to drink. People die from blows to the head like that. Furthermore he also states he won't call EMS until the witnesses tell him that he needs to call it.
