That’s an aura. Mine lights are jiggly jag lines on the outside edge of my eyes. Strong family history! Sometimes your aura will change and patterns can change. I sometimes manage to find a medication concoction that works or sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Some people, like me, use ice pack, others use heating pad and my dad used heating pad on his head and ice pack on his neck! Good luck with the migraines, they really SUCK!!!
@seratonin70044 жыл бұрын
Yeah I get spots in my eyes and I know what's coming. Sometimes I get global auras, where all my senses are affected. Things small and taste bad, noise sensitivity, the works
@jackb89394 жыл бұрын
White Boy pretty sure he’s having aura before his migraine. Sounds identical to what I get before my migraines
@seratonin70044 жыл бұрын
@White Boy I think you're confusing the correct medical term aura with another one aura meaning. It is called an aura, in this instance a visual aura as it's probably an ocular migraine. When it involves all your senses it's called a global aura. I was told this by my neurologist and it's easy to research.
@jfs3664 жыл бұрын
Virginia b I can never tell when they’re coming, they always blindside me
@seratonin70044 жыл бұрын
@@jfs366 you might start to see patterns that warn you after awhile. Some specialists recommend keeping a diary of everything you eat, activities, stress patterns etc plus the symptoms as they arise. My specialist said there are so many possible triggers that they don't bother trying to work them out, there just treat the condition. It can often be a combination of triggers. I've been able to identify that for me they come on with exposure to fluro and LED lighting, plus after stress has passed, and my first symptom is the visual aura, often followed by hunger and a flurry of activity, then nausea, overheating, light and noise sensitivity, and of course a headache that increases in intensity. Sometimes I'm sensitive to movement and smell too, and once it involves all the senses, that's called a global aura. I can now catch them early enough to prevent most of them with 300 to 500mg of soluble aspirin, peppermint oil on my forehead and neck, icepack on the back of my neck and a nap in a dark, quiet room. Sometimes a lavender bath or other calmatives help. Some people find a hot shower or heat on the head helps, combined with an ice pack on the neck. This is to do with the restricted blood flow, muscle tension and pressure that occurs. Rubbing arnica into the neck muscles and massaging the head can also help and some people swear by Magnesium, which I'm about to try. If the headache continued to escalate with that specific migraine type pressure and intensity, I then use prescription medication like Immigran, which works well if you take it soon enough. Nasal sprays and wafers work best for me. If you need to use this type of medication more than twice a week it can cause rebound migraines so I alternate between brands if the migraines are within the same 7 day period. Maxalt and Relpax are also good Australian brands, and I seem to have less rebound issues with Relpax, though it's in tablet form so doesn't work as fast as the wafers and nasal sprays. If you're getting them regularly, my neurologist suggested the next step is a daily medication, which tends to break the cycle for a considerable time, (2 or 3 years for some people) so they can then cease the meds until needed again. I always recommend seeing a neurologist as there are many causes and types of migraines, and they can be very severe. The major difference between a TSI or stroke and a migraine is the fact that migraines don't bleed out. If you have a family history of stroke it's even more important to be professionally assessed, and reassed if the migraines change in any significant way. Good luck!

I used to get severe migraines as well. As soon as the vision stuff starts, take 4 aspirin, won't kill all the pain but it helps ease it a bit. Good news is I still get the vision stuff occasionally, but the pain onset that used to happen after the vision effects went away, stopped happening in my late 40's, so there may be some relief for you in the future as happened for me. Still get super nervous though every time I get the vision issues, and still take aspirin to help in case the pain ever comes back.

Then I opened the cup to dump the ice before throwing the cup away, low and behold there was a dead roach stuck to the inside of the cup. Needless to say haven't been back to cookout since (Jacksonville NC), and sweet tea blows when it's being puked out your nose.

Cheesecake tips: 1. use a water bath. It should prevent a little browning and cracking 2. That's a springform pan. After you finish baking it and letting it cool you can pop of the outside ring by releasing the clasp. Stale donut tip: Turn that stuff into donut bread pudding. It's pretty easy but super unhealthy. Imagine if donuts and french toast had a love child. This is the recipe I use but I skip the raisins and dial back the cinnamon a little. I also use a full dozen donuts: www.food.com/recipe/krispy-kreme-donut-bread-pudding-531377 There's also no need to wait for them to go stale but letting them go stale will help them absorb custard better. Let it chill out in the fridge overnight and then bake it off in the morning. Definitely use a greased pyrex glass pan though. Donut bread pudding pro tip: get extra donuts when the hot and ready light is on because you can enjoy some warm and tasty diabetes instead of dipping into your bread pudding reserves.

Donut I get the same type of migraines! You gotta get your eyes checked, and do more shit to help with stress like mindfulness. Helped me INCREDIBLY.

I rarely get them and the first few times I couldn't understand what they were because I don't have that often. But when I get them, it's usually from gaming on the phone too long. It hurts so bad that loud sound and intense colors caused pain to spike into the stratosphere. Also caused inner ear balance issues... Good luck with that.

I used to get really bad migraines at work. I figured out it was the lighting. I worked at a game developer and we would turn down the lights and just work on our computers. After a couple hours I would get a migraine from focusing on the screen. I would wear my hoodie up and sunglasses and it still would give me a migraine. If this sounds similar to your situation try replacing your lights with a softer light and don’t sit in the dark staring at the screen. 😀

12:00 my brother has a stock white jeep (now stained muddy) like that and he's sunk it more times than I can count and it somehow still works. I want one.

Hey Donut, there is a drink called "lonkero" or "long drink" which was created here in Finland for the olympics and is just carbonated grapefruit juice with gin, and some entreponour is trying to bring it to the US, however it is not as good as the real stuff.

Hey man, might want to look into a prescription for migraines. Something like sumatriptan can be used just when you have a bad one to knock it down, not like every day/week. In a pinch try Benadryl

Migraines are the worst, I used to get minor ones before TBI... My mal helps a ton with alerting to anything getting worse and when my hands go numb - puppers and kids are awesome!
