I really appreciate that you guys give honest opinions on the accessibility of various art supplies/brands. I have hand tremors and weakness like steph and nothing annoys me more than having to get help from someone else JUST to draw something! I used to love watching your videos YEARS ago. I watched everything that you uploaded. I just rediscovered your channel and this makes me SO HAPPY! Ooh! An arrtx head to head to head! I also really wish they did colour names as it does make things tricky. I didn't get the simptap as my disability makes my hands the weakest and most painful part of my body so they seemed like a foolish choice. I love it when I get extra tips etc, I wish more markers came with them. It could just be that I'm hard on markers or that my angle I hold them at (due to aforementioned disability) isn't right. These look like they're more opaque than the original markers. I'm very tempted. Love both your pieces. I love how Adam's brings out the beauty and chaos of the ocean and how super cute and cohesive Steph's is.

There is so much vibrant color in the 48 set. Thanks for showing us the comparison of older and newer markers. The best Arttx marker comparison and showing how they start up and function. I did not know they were like Posca because of how the other people showed us the markers. This team showed started up, swatching, and on paper interactive coverage. Saving for these would be much cheaper with more for the amount paid. The Posca was 34 or 35 for just 8 at a time. Except the ones I got on sale this last week below 20 bucks.🤗❤️👍🏽💯

Yep color names and matching swatches are so important to ALL Artists! I have used a permanent marker (Sharpie) and write down the names, even though I am NOT color blind I still want the names! I do enjoy watching and listening t oyou both. I feel you are so kind to one another and we all should be kinder to others especially those whom we truly care for!

Not quite an art question: I like doing picture puzzles in books instead of apps. I'm currently using Staedtler HB pencils, but unless very sharp, it can look really faint. Any recommendations on pencils/grade of pencil that is darker but still erases easily?

Staedtler can be pretty hard and faint, if you can get your hands on something like a 2B from any brand, you'll find those much darker but still easy to erase! I hope this helps 💛💙

I think the holding breath thing is normal for a lot of activities. I would shoot archery and probably also do the same. The smallest movement of the upper body could send the arrow off course.

love the simptaps but i’m with steph they really hurt my thumb and wrist, i might invest in the new set they seem so optic and pretty!! i struggle with how much you have to shake and pump poscas (and the price). The price comparison isn't that bad. I always find posca sets too pricey, and even when you come across them on discount, the discount isn't that great. I'd like to try these.

I agree, posca have sort of become the go to brand and I think the price reflects it, but these honestly give them a good run for their money!

I'm not even colourblind and I find the lack of colour names frustrating, like what do they have against them? Most marker brands have both the number + name so I don't know what their excuse is. Aside from that they do have a nice range of shades/colours which I really like. I love how the fish serpent came out, he looks very abstract haha

I've only tried Pintor and Posca. And Let me tell you Pintor has nice pastels but their pens gets destroyed easily. Posca has allot of ink but they smell bad So it's nice to see you show some other brands. :)

The replacement nibs are suspicious. HOWEVER, most people seem to live in places that focus on buying new products when something breaks instead of fixing it. So, if the company is being sweet and is giving you a way to fix your old nibs, that is really nice. If the company is giving extra nibs because the nib quality is lacking, then that is sad. I'm down for fixing things when they break instead of buying new. So lets hope the company is in the same mindset.
