Watching this live was the first time I've ever actually genuinely been on the floor laughing. Maybe I'm a history nerd for knowing who Marc Antony is, but Cheesy's increasingly wild guesses were incredible! And no hate to Cheesy! If you don't know of Marc Antony, then that clue would be horribly confusing.

I REALLY thought "DEAD" was a clue for "NOBEL". He invented dynamite, which he sold to armies, which gave him the nickname "merchant of death". When his brother died, it was misreported that Alfred Nobel himself had died, and published obituaries were scathing. So Nobel decided to put his fortune into a trust to award prizes for advancements to the human race, to start being awarded after he died.

And him saying the misspelling made me think he meant the "corp" within "incorporated" being "crop". I thought "incorporated" was a suggestion someone from his twitch chat had made.

Until this video I never realized Marc Antony fell in love with Cleopatra VII. I always thought he was just one of the senators that betrayed Julius Caesar and then was killed by Octavius during the civil war caused by Julius’ death.

Dude was big into Caesar, one of his biggest supporters. He was apart of that Second Triumvirate with Octavian that took out those senators

Marc Antony was the one that prevented the senators from throwing Caesar's body into the Tiber, his eulogy for Caesar was the final nail that turned the people firmly against Caesar's assassins. Yes, he beefed with Octavius, but that's primarily because he felt he should have been Caesar's successor, not Octavius, and his claim had some legitimacy to it

To be fair, I had to Google just to double check and make sure that they were talking about Marcus Antonius. IDK if "Marc Antony" is what's taught in the English speaking countries but I would have assumed that it's someone else if Cleopatra wasn't on the board.

@@criipier Marc Antony is how we're taught about the person, at least in America. As shown by Aphex, Junk, Chilled, Kat, Jeremy, and myself all knew who it was and all of us having grown up in different environments across the U.S.

@@criipier I would blame Shakespeare for the spelling but all I see while going down that route is Mark Antony, arguably worse. No c, I wonder where it comes from. Though I suppose if your going to Anglicise the name, go all in. It's not like Marc or Mark is said in a different way.
